That's exactly how I use the RTH feature. I know my drones don't have precision landing but I'm just glad to know that I have that return to home feature in case something ever goes wrong with my drones I can at least bring it back to me safely. Great video Rick, thanks.
Yep, RTH works really well. With my Air2S it would land right on that launch matt most times, though just the other day I had to direct it as it descended as I had not used the matt and it was heading to land 2 metres off line, on a long grassy embankment. Easy to correct.
Looking to buy my first drone. I've found a Mavic 2 PRO which I realize is roughly 6 years old technology for $200 locally. Should I go with it or the new mini 3? I need to stay under $400.
I've just bought a dji mini 4k with the fly more pack. £399 I don't know how much that is in the USA, but I can recommend 100%. I'm a first time flyer and I can't believe how easy it is to fly it. It does all the complicated technical stuff so I can concentrate on the rest.
I’m confused. I know there is a Mini 4 Pro, I haven’t heard of a mini 4K. I don’t see it on DJI site . Can this work with a controller with the screen ? HELP ! I just found it on Amazon for $299 drone w controller. But why not on DJI site? Can you get Care for this ?
It's the latest "entry level" drone from DJI and aimed at new fliers that want a great drone at a great price. It isn't compatible with the smart controller and only works with the original RC1, that's included with the clip. It's very similar to the Mini 2SE and only available on Amazon and Best Buy. It's a great little drone and the price makes it even better.
