Just want to let you know that you helped me understand my Okuma trio 30, to the point of complete disassembly, clean, lube etc, and do the reassembly with zero mistakes. You are much better than another unnamed Utuber, with a lot more explanation on the job at hand. Thanks so much for being persice and to the point without being overly repetitive...
Regards, and keep up the Great content

You're welcome and thanks for watching! I'm glad to hear it helped you! Regarding the unnamed TH-camr, we all do things a little differently, yet put in quite a bit of time and effort to produce and post these videos, so I appreciate the work they do. Thanks again! More vids to come. Spread the word about the channel.

Nice job. Curious about the shim washers that didn’t go back on the main gear. What made you make that decision? Thanks. I always learn something new from you. 👍

Thanks Steve! There's a great, underrated movie (and others) called I-Robot, where the inventor talks about ghosts in the machine..... the longer between servicings, the more likely the reel won't go together the way it came off.... I mean tension-wise (side cover over the main gear), plus whatever you do to the reel, like filling some previously used spaces with grease/oil... or just the way it fits inside the bearings. Hence, the tension feels different when you compress the cover with screws. So, you have to play with the shims sometimes to get the feel right.

Thanks for all your videos. I used this video to rebuild the anti reverse on an old vintage shimano beast master spinning reel. The anti reverse works now but makes a buzzing/fast clicking sound as the antireverse dog is slapping into place and buzzing. Do you have any recommendations for me?

You're welcome and thanks for watching and reaching out! Your actuator spring is not set into the actuator. If you look at 12:10, that end of the spring has to sit down in the slotted end of the plastic actuator.... you can see the complete reinstall if you continue watching. Although your components may look a little different, the concept is the same. Hope this helps. If not, feel free to reach out to me at tsgreelservice@gmail.com. Spread the word about the channel.

Does anyone have a problem with the reel just spinning back and forth and no way to keep tension on the line so it doesn't just keep getting tangled up? Can't see any way to stop it. Most reels have a little lever on the back you just move ovwr and it stops the reel from moving. This one doesn't have that.

Thanks for checking out the video. State what your specific reel make and model is if you're looking for help with it.
