No shots of 3rd avenue? That's where Port Alberni really shines.

I'm kicking myself for missing the Jane Austin festival. I didn't have time to go. The costumes looked amazing!

My wife and I grew up in a village in Creighton Mine Sudbury.
Linda .....dragged me to Manitoulin Island in 1979 ....lake Manitou is 30 miles of clean, oxygen filled lake and fish
Linda and I retire in 2019 and our wish is to to summer at Sandfield on Manitou and winter in Tofino and explore the island.
We will be coming to your B& B to talk about Stompin Tom Connors and my days underground, lindas work with Turtles and love of being near them.....and the love of water and mountains.

You used to find an energetic city in port but not now. Why does your vid show a wonderfully warn day when its mostly raining 72 inches annually and of course gray and cold quite windy also. There is literally nothing to do in Port It is a dying town like so many small towns in Canada with this idiottt in power, but the people are nice for the most part and the natural beauty is worth a look. The roads are good the food is not really. Best place to eat is the BUCK SNORTS Restaurant really very good food, great service with ok decor and good location.

Its true. But if you look beyond the problem which is affecting a lot more than just Port, it really is a great place. Ive lived in various towns and cities across saskatchewan, alberta, and mainland and island bc. Port is my favourite despite its flaws.

I totally agree with you, Port Alberni is a dump I was born and raised in Port Alberni in 1985 and in those 33 years of my life it has considerably changed especially the area around downtown and 3rd Avenue and since I work around that area.
