If Clinton ever sees this.. I used to go to your store all the time as a kid. My name is Clay and I went with my grandma all the time, I really miss your shop man. Always had great vibes there.

Moved here last summer from Vancouver and LOVING it. An outdoorsman's paradise, historic REAL downtown (not fake like Gastown) and the people have the aloha spirit! Oh, and English is widely spoken.

I was born and raisedin Vancouver. Have lived in Alberta for 20 years now. We are moving to Nanaimo and buying a house by Departure Bay! I am thrilled! Don't get me wrong, Alberta is a beautiful province with some of the nicest people I have ever met. Winters are brutal though. We can't wait to move!

So Bilingualism hasn't hit your area yet, thank God for that... That means you can advance in your work without having the language police making sure you pronounce your words just right... ( make sure to never let it happen there ). It looks like a nice place, I do LOVE the outdoors.

@@carlogg6847 You should absolutely visit Nanaimo! We have a beautiful island, and lovely spots to visit. We also played a big part in WWII, which is great, and we have this thing called the Bastion, which is our little landmark. Being on Vancouver Island, we have great little oceans, and beautiful walk places, like Pipers Lagoon and Neck Point. It would be great if you could visit us Nanaimoinians!

When Regina showed up, I thought I'm watching a documentary about northern Germany for a second :D as a German physiotherapist I had the luck to learn one thing or two about hippotherapy from other physio- and occupational therapists and I'm positively convinced that it can have an huge impact on a persons life. Wishing Regina and her team all the best from Germany and let me know, if you need a helping hand :P

Nanaimo is Canada’s homeless and drug capital of the country in my books. Terrible visit!
Ya tent city! Nanaimo police won’t do anything guys it’s a hick town on the water with what 5 registered officers 😂😂 they won’t smog them out or anything. If you want to visit Canada from a different country Nanaimo is a HARD miss! Steer clear of Nanaimo guys! My 7 year old daughter found used needles in the malls women’s washroom... and it’s the only mall in town 😱 Gob smacked you guys! Stay safe be cautious if you’re in Nanaimo
Haven’t seen a town this run down and rough since driving through Tijuana, Mexico. This is Canada’s version of Tijuana. Only go through it if you absolutely must! Victoria and Vancouver are pretty nice though, Victoria does have some grubby’s about but nothing compared to Nanaimo. When we were driving out of Nanaimo southbound from what’s it... woodgroove mall? Saw a homeless man with dreads eating imaginary berries off of a tree that had nothing but leaves... Nanaimo... very disappointed. It’s no wonder the royals Kate and William didn’t come further west past Calgary after marriage, they must know the ways of the Pacific coast... very disturbing. 😂 had a good laugh at that invisible berry eating homeless guy though, it was quite entertaining and mind boggling.

Well, sir..! I've lived in Nanaimo ALL MY LIFE. The police are doing excellent job, and all this trash about the homeless?!?! GOD! Is it so wrong to ASK FOR BOTTLES?! And you decided to LAUGH. What an ass! I'm glad that was only, what, 1 MONTH?! If your going to insult a city that is working SO hard, then your just a straight up jerk. Oh, btw, the RCMP is doing the best they can. You thinks it's easy trying to keep track of homeless people and run everything else in Nanaimo? I think your post is garbage, and you were just there to hurt the city, then stay away from Nanaimo! I don't care that your baby girl found needles. Woodgrove mall is way larger then you think, and you need to fuck off if you think everything is trash about my city. Go back to America!
