The amazing bass is Tim Foust, on the end to the right. He has a 5 octave range. The vocal percussion is the Adam Rupp, on the end to your left. They all do special effects including vocal percussion. The smooth angelic tenor in glasses is Rob Lundquist, the high tenor is Austin Brown and last but never least is the buttery baritone Adam (Chance) Chance. Home Free has over 200 songs on TH-cam and every one is a treasure of harmonic delight. Hope you check out more of Home Free. "Man of Constant Sorrow" is a great introduction to the amazing talent that is Home Free.

Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way. I am in Michigan, USA.

Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free. They are known for their tight harmonies, having one of the best bass singers with a 5 octave range & a beatboxer vocal percussionist extraordinaire. Home Free is doing a 10 year anniversary album of all the songs they did on the "Sing Off" that they won in 2013. Love this great classic song from Ben E. King back in 1961. The Home Free guys did an awesome version as always. Love their arrangement on this cover. Great vocal leads by Austin & Rob. Tim's bass really stands out for me in this one. And Adam's tasteful vocal percussion is on point. Most new reactors start out with "Man Of Constant Sorrow".

I love that they're keeping classics such as Ben E. King's song alive for new generations to appreciate. Their harmonies & singing are always outstanding and their beatboxer (Adam Rupp) is incomparable. Thanks for playing this & your comments. Dive down the Home Free rabbit hole - it's a terrific trip! BTW, they each have channel(s) of their own as well!

The man with the gray streaks in his hair is Tim, the bass guy you hear. Rob, the guy with the glasses, is their lower tenor, the red-haired bearded guy is Austin, their High tenor. The long Hair guy on the end is their beatboxer Adam and the one next to the bass guy is Chance and he's their baritone, but also can sing bass, He's just not as low of a bass as Tim who can sing Mariana Trench low.

Welcome to the Home Free party. What a terrific place to start. This is one of my favorites from them. Best a cappella group out there, I think. They have a very deep and varied catalog. Everything from country to pop to rock to sacred to even a little opera from the 2 tenors. I would recommend Helplessly Hoping, Listen to the Music or their original Playing With Fire next. Enjoy the ride!

Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. It runs very deep. The next song you should check out is Man of Constant Sorrow. All the sounds you their come from their mouths. They are from left to right Adam Rupp Beat Boxer, Rob Lundquist Tenor, Austin Brown High Tenor, Adam Chance Baritone/Bass, Tim Foust Bass. In my opinion they are the best acapella group around. Home Free's harmonies are magical. And there are nearly 200 official videos out there for you to enjoy.
You are not the first reactor to presume that Rob (glasses) is the bass voice. Tim - farthest on the right - is the bass. The guy next to him (Chance) is also a bass, but usually sings baritone. Moving left, Austin ( the first lead) is their high tenor, Rob is a tenor, and Adam is the beatboxer/vocal percussionist and tenor.
Home Free will often make you forget that there are no instruments.
But - word of warning - many Home Fries (Home Free fans) will NOT appreciate you skipping bits of the video - you cut out Rob and Austin's duet!!. And mostly HF videos are not bothered by copyright issues - although sometimes YT gets weird about it.

Great Reaction!! Welcome to Home Free rabbit hole.
The group started in 2000/2001( there’s contention on the year)by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp
They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular.
They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do so so much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do.
There is no Lead singer in the group. They each ( except Adam )sing the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance.A lot of time they each have a part in the song.
Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys.
Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire can make almost any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota.
Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) Very soulful voice and master whistler from Minneapolis,Minnesota
Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland,Texas
Austin Brown:High Tenor ( Long wavy hair )Voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia. He will be leaving the group in the fall.
Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass Deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County,Alabama.Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016)
They have collaborated with many singers and legends
    Don McLean: Vincent (newest release)
    Don McLean:American Pie
    Oak Ridge Boys:Elvira
Kenny Rodgers:Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message)
    Billy Gilman:One Voice
    Alabama:Christmas In Dixie
Mark Wills:Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end )
Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band:God Bless The USA
    Any many many more.
They have 3 amazing songwriters in the group Tim,Austin and Chance so they have a very large playlist of covers and original songs
End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men cover )
    When A Loves A Woman
Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony masterpiece )
    Unchained Melody
    Butts Medley/ Remix
    Listen To The Music
    Can’t Outrun You
    Brothers In Arms
Stargazer Trilogy( All Originals written by Austin)
    Give Me A Sign ( Chapter 1)
    Stargazer Lilies( Chapter 2)
    MR ( mister) (Chapter 3)
Skull And Bones ( original written by Chance for Ubisoft new video game Skull And Bones)
Might As Well Be Me ( Original)
    Playing With Fire ( Original)
    Remember My Name (Original)
    Oh Pretty Woman
    Life Is A Highway
    Stand By Me
    Cruise
    I Want Crazy
    Colder Weather
Ring Of Fire ( 2024 version)
    Jump Right In
    Any Way The Wind Blows
Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES )
There's not a song that you pick from their 200+ catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet.
They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is IMO
Sorry for the long read 🏠🍟

Great reaction to my favourite (vocal) band, period. They can sing just about anything and do. The rabbit hole is deep and varied, from silly to serious and everything in-between, crossing many genres. Please continue to explore #HomeFree you will not be disappointed.
    My top 5 covers/upgrades:
Stand By Me - this will make you love this classic in a whole new way
Take Me Home Country Roads - they played with this arrangement for 5 years, until they felt they had perfected it and John Denver would approve
I Can’t Outrun You - beautiful 5-part harmonies with a wonderful video (concept and direction by Chance)
Castle on the Hill - a fun video and touching song, fantastically sung
One Man Band - the video was shot in one take, great leads, layering, harmonies and beat-boxing
I’m from the Toronto area in 🇨🇦.

Home Free is wonderful. Ok left to right….Adam, beatboxer; Rob (glasses) tenor; Austin (redhead with hair in a bun) high tenor; Chance, baritone; Tim, shorter hair with gray, bass. Tim is the bass with a 5 octave range so he can sing super low but also high. If you want to hear more bass try Brothers in Arms, I Can’t Outrun You. Good one!😃😍

I love HomeFree. But they are not your typical high school or college acappella group. Since The Sing Off, they are drawing on the traditions from Country Music. Three part harmony or four part harmony is very common in gospel and country music. A group like The Oak Ridge Boys is the predecessor to Home Free. You could check out the two groups singing “Elvira” together.
BTW - They also have a song and video with Lisa Cimorelli covering “Meant to Be”.
