SEA SHANTY MEDLEY LIVE! is amazing!! Youll have so many Home Fries join if you go down this rabbit hole. Nana Karen UK
Home free is the best a Capella group ever, they have a wide range of songs from all genres, they are serious and they are comedians, you get it all with them.
Love Home Free my favorite group. They won the same TV show PTX won a year later, subbed for more Home Free. They just released Vincent with Don McLean. They also did a remake of American Pie with Don
Home Free is the best! They do a huge variety of music and each have a very impressive vocal range. They will make you dance , cry and fall out of your seat laughing. They have great personalities and sense of humor and are genuinely good people. Tim, the bass, has a 5+ octave range and Adam, the beatboxer, can't be beat. They do covers ( I call them " improvements ") and have their own originals. Thanks for the Home Free reaction!
SKULL AND BONES, WORKIN FOR A LIVIN, LISTEN TO THE MUSIC, BROTHER (THEY'RE LARPING)
Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.
Have to hear their "Butts Remix" They do rock, country, and hiphop.
Fav rock? Fav hip hop? And fav Country one? Thank you for watching it.
@@TheWholeAzzShow yup, all 3 in one song.
🤣🤣 💯💯
And 💯 goofballs!
Graet covers to check out:
Seven Bridges Road
Life is a Highway (2023)
Take Me Home, Country Roads
Helplessly Hoping
Brothers in Arms
You can't pick a bad song from them! Just subbed for more Home Free 😊
Thank you for the sub!!! And checking us out. We will have plenty more coming! From other artist as well
Home free is my favourite cos they are so versatile. They'll have you crying with laughter, Butts Medley, or crying with beautiful music, Go Rest High on that Mountain, and just this week Vincent with Don McClean.
Want to have fun with Home Free ? ..... try "Brother" ..... greetz from The Netherlands
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!!
SKULL AND BONES IS A HOME FREE ORIGINAL WRITTEN BY CHANCE FOR UBI SOFT FOR THE GAME OF THE SAME NAME
Home Free is so talented. They can all beatbox to a degree but Adam (back right) is extraordinary. He was doing drums, harmonica and other sounds but Chance, back left, was doing the jaw harp sound. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and also sing high (kid you not). All of them sing lead depending on the song and they also sing all genres of music. Love them! Good reaction boys!😍😄
🤣 in response to your outro..you play more #HomeFree and we'll definitely be back..deal ?..deal !...
Brother
Butts Remix/Medley
Folsom Prison Blues
Unchained Melody
Hillbilly Bone
In The Blood
Just to name a few 😁
#HomeFryForever
🌿🌿🌿
Now, listen to the same guys do The DB "Listen to the Music" or CS&N "Helplessly Hoping"
Heck yeah!!! Thanks for the recommendations!
YES!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Love these guys. Best a cappella group out there, I think. They have a very deep and varied catalog. Everything from country to R&B to pop to rock to sacred, even a little opera from the 2 tenors. I suggest the live version of the Sea Shanty Medley, which will have you pounding your tankard on the table or Skull and Bones which will have you look for an eye patch and parrot. Enjoy the party!
Welcome my friends to the HomeFree Rabbit Hole! We are the HomeFries and where HomeFree is playing we show up! We are many and loyal! So happy that you enjoyed Adam's "No-monica " and Chance's Jaw Harp! Try "Playing with Fire ", an awesome Austin Brown original. I am sure you will enjoy it!
@judyhausler7057 shout out fellow home fry. 😊
Huge Home Free fan here. You react to Home Free I will be here. I second reacting to "Playing with Fire" an Austin (High Tenor) original. One of my favs.
This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old (about 100 yrs.) & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "How Great Thou Art", "Ring Of Fire", "Elvira", "Hillbilly Bone", "American Pie", "Brother In Arms", "One Man Band", "Listen To The Music", "Sea Shanty Medley", "Skull & Bones" etc.
Home Free is one of the most talented groups around. Check out "When A Man Loves A Woman", "Listen to the Music", "Take Me Home Country Roads", "End of the Road"......just to give you a taste of their over 200 videos. Welcome to the wonderful world of Home Free!
I've been watching you guy since I'm a "Renagade" but before that I was a "HomeFry"! Home Free will always Amaze, Surprise and Entertain!! They don't do any "Metal" covers as far as I know.
They won't ever let you down on the classic rock, country, pop songs that they upgrade in the way only "Home Free" can do. Hope to see more!
Now if you want some "Metal" you have to see "VoicePlays" - Nothing Else Matters - Metallica (acapella) video.
That’s awesome that you’ve been with us for awhile! Are there any other bands or artist you’d recommend?
@@TheWholeAzzShow The top three a cappella groups are Pentatonix, Home Free, and VoicePlay. VoicePlay is considered the theater kids of a cappella, dressing up in costume and makeup and acting out the songs. Run through the songs in The Nightmare Before Christmas for 4 or 5 performed by VoicePlay plus Jack's Lament done by their bass singer Geoff Castellucci. To the confusion of many his name is pronounced Jeff and he's done several video playing off that. The Elvis cover Way Down, Ghost Riders in the Sky and its prequel Unskaken (from a video game) are good examples of that. Those three groups are all friends and sometimes work together. There is a wonderful 4th group called The Bass Gang (see their video Gaston) and a solo/duo singer Peter Hollens (see I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For feat. Home Free and keep watching after the song).
@@TheWholeAzzShow yes, VoicePlay, they are known as the theater kids of a capella. They love to dress up and really play out the song. There isn't anything they've done that I haven't like. At this time I'm obsessed with their Black Hole Sun, by Soundgarden, they turned it into a cyber rock style.
"Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget" is a bit of a giggle. Older original song by Tim, the bass singer.
Story wise that one is followed by Full of Cheer, also written by Tim Foust, even though Austin is front and center on that one.
End of The Road is FIRE!! 🔥 Every song is perfection!! All genres too!! 🥰🎶
Subscribing in hopes of more Home Free! I saw them live a couple of weeks ago and they are more amazing in person! They call themselves a 'vocal band', which is a good description of what they do. They are all so talented! Thanks for reacting to my favorite group!
Thanks for subscribing and welcome to the show! We will be reacting to more as they took us by surprise. They were not what we were expecting at all. Stay tuned!
Awesome reaction ‼️ 🤗 #HomeFree " listen to the music " their cover is amazing also their cover of " Folsom Prison Blues "! Y'all definitely want to check these out.😊
More Home Free please - loved your reactions! Excellent to react to - followed by many. Smile and Cheers!
down the rabbit hole you go. Folsom Prison Blues, Butt's Remix, an original, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, The End Of the Road, When a Man Loves a Woman, Ring of Fire. Welcome from the Home Fries.
Welcome to Home Free fandom! Oh, the guy doing the jaw harp is not the beatboxer. It’s the guy in the back left. These guys are amazing and I hope you react to more of their songs! You’ll be amazed! Check out a couple of my favs “Helplessly Hoping”, “Brothers In Arms”, and their most recent release, a re-make of Don McLean’s “Vincent” with the man himself! You’ve got yourself a new subscriber! Fans of Home Free are called “Home Fries”.
GREATEST A-Capella Group ever!! Butts Remix is HILARIOUS
Home Free is the BEST acapella band out there (okay, MY favorite), but they are FUN and have fun doing it. You should go down that rabbit hole. Put "Home Free" in the title and people will come and watch you react. ;)
Sea Shanty Medley is amazing! It was filmed live in December of 2022. It was my granddaughter's Christmas present. Home Free is the only a capella country group. They have a huge catalog. They won the Sing Off in 2014. Plus,we are diehard loyal fans and there are alot of us! Loved the surprised look on your faces.
Home Free is the only Country A Capella group. But, they can, and do, sing everything. Suggest:
Sea Shanty Medley (either version; one is live & the other is during covid lockdown)
Skull And Bones
Folsom Prison Blues
Go Rest High On That Mountain
The Gambler
Elvira, featuring the Oak Ridge Boys
God Bless The USA, featuring Lee Greenwood & The US Air Force Singing Sargeants (there's an earlier video of the same w/o the others)
Brothers In Arms
Brother
When A Man Loves A Woman
Colder Weather (2023)
You can't go wrong with any HF songs.
Now go watch their cover of End of the Road. Then - any of the 180+ videos on their official play list.
For magnificent harmonies - Helplessly Hoping or Brothers in Arms.
They have plenty of originals, check out Dive Bar Saints, Remember This, Give me a Sign, Playing with Fire.
Then for something totally different - Listen to the Music, Love Train, and Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get it On.
If you go down the Home Free rabbit hole, and it's deeeeep with around 200 videos with 1 or 2 new being released every month, you'll get swarms of Home Fries, the Home Free fans, coming your way.
They will keep having you amazed with whichever song you go with, to the point where you think they can no longer amaze you, and then they'll amaze you again. They are countey, but they do many genres. They are hilariously funny and don't take themselves too seriously but they are also caring, loving and warm, and different sides of them come out in different songs and videos. They are very versatile and you can't always know beforehand who's going to do which part. The bass can sing as high as the tenor and the baritone can go down in the basement and up on the top floor too, but perhaps not all the way up to the attic.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. It runs very deep! They are totally acapella, and all the sounds come from their mouths. These guys are extremely talented. Please continue to react to them. They do different genres. Us Home Free fans call ourselves Home Fries. I subscribed! They will never disappoint! Love your reactions!
This video is older. For something more recent, I recommend Vincent which was just released a week ago or Stand By Me which was released last fall. On their album So Long Dixie, 10 of the 12 tracks are originals, including the title track (Adam's nomonica is heard again). Great reaction. I definitely want to see more.
Hey guys...Home Free is amazing...their latest is a collab with Don McLean singing a reenvisioning of his classic Vincent (starry starry night)
Subscribed for more Home Free!
Thanks for subscribing and welcome to the show!
Great reaction! I think I see a couple new Home Fries on the horizon.
They have done lots of covers ... aka upgrades .... to some great songs! It's quite a large rabbit hole and you will be amazed!!!
New sub for Home Free! Fans are called Home Fries! YT reaction channels sub base increases dramatically if you react to more Home Free! You will be blown away by their talent and creativity! Home Free for life baby! 🤠
Thanks for watching and subscribing. Welcome to the show! Stay tuned!
Hi guys! Great reaction! Check out the beatboxer Adam Rupp in this one. He does a solo. Home Free: Drum Solo [SPM ST15]. Have a great day!
Actually the Drum Solo is a concert staple so there are several versions of that piece beginning in 2015 or 16 up to 2023 or 24. Many are filmed and posted by audience members since Home Free doesn't usually copyright.
Just subbed for Home Free! #Homefree is the best in my opinion! They have a huge catalogue of songs to choose from, and they are all fire! They all can sing beautifully even their phenomenal beatboxer/ vocal percussionist. They do covers and original music. You should listen to their cover of the classic Doobie Brothers Listen to the Music. Or the Percy Sledge classic When a man loves a woman. They also did a collaboration of American Pie with the original artist Don McClean. No matter which song you choose us Home Fries( their fans) will be here! And you will enjoy them even more! Thank you for your reaction!
You have just entered the rabbit hole of Home Free! Those of us that follow them are called Home Fries. The more you watch of them, the more you will be blown away at what they can do. They've done collaborations with Don McLean (twice), Kenny Rogers (before he passed), performed with Avi from Pentatonix, etc., etc. They always make the songs their own but still stay true to the music. You can't go wrong listening to these 5 crazy and amazing gentlemen.
Adam Rupp is the best of he best in the beatboxing world!!
Can't wait to watch you go down the Home Free rabbit hole!!! This was great.
They are soooooooo amazing enjoy the rabbit hole.
They do rock also.
New sub because of Home Free. Welcome to the "rabbit hole" known as Home Free. Hold on & enjoy the ride. Keep reacting to HF & us "home fries" will swarm.
❤🤠#HomeFree. They are amazing. Great reaction. 🏠🍟
Sincere reaction. Suggestion: Hopelessly Hoping
Ty for reacting to this!!!! Us Home Fries will be standing by for more because once you get a taste you wont be able to stop. Home Free is amazing and so talented. Semper Fi & ty again.
It is called the no monica because Adam does it with his voice. They were also on The Sing Off Season 4, and the won. Please listen to more of Home Free in the future. I enjoyed watching your reactions to this song.
fav songs of Home Free: Listen to the Music, When a man loves a Woman, Love Train, Ring of fire, Delta Dawn, Elvira feat. the Oak Ridge Boys, American Pie feat. Don McLean. not Home Free but Peter Hollens feat. Home Free "Still haven't found what I am Looking For." and if you like Sea Shanty's then "Sea Shanty Medley" and their OG sea shanty "Skull and Bones" that UbSoft wanted them to make for their video game of the same name. once you seen several Home Free videos then watch "Adam Rupp's Drum Solo" is a must watch. and of coarse "God Bless the USA" feat. Lee Greenwood.
There are beat boxers, then there are good beat boxers, then pro beat boxers, then world class beat boxers. Ahead of them all by a dozen light years is Adam Rupp. and by the way Adam Rupp the beat boxer can sing just as good as all the others in Home Free. so he is not just a beat boxer.
Subbed for more Home Free. They're amazing. And they have a ton of really fun songs, too, which help highlight their many different talents, i.e. "The Butts Medley." Thanks for reacting to the best a cappella group out there.
welcome to home free. go down the rabbit hole and they will continue to blow your minds
with your focusing on the harmonica. check out their cover of aint going down til the sun comes up
Been following you two since you started covering Ren, but have been a 'Home Fry' forever and saw them live last year...AMAZING! You wanna check out something super fun and hilarious from Home Free... check out The Butts Remix!!! Much love to you both - Peace friends.
While many heard this song in the movie y'all mentioned, it is actually a very old American Folk Song. Though published in 1913 by Dick Burnett, it was old when published - he just put it to paper - which then enabled him to earn from its use. Prior to that it was learned "by ear" having originated in & around Kentucky, Tennessee and thereabouts.
Favorites are Blue Ain't Your Color, In The Blood, Sea Shanty Medley live, Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget and Full Of Cheer should give you a boost.
Home Free with the cover upgrades.
Home Fry here! Aren’t they great?!?! More Home Free please! Just pick one. They are all GREAT! ❤❤❤
There is so much Home Free to listen to. Enjoy!!!
Originals ... Catch me if you can ... Love me like that ... Land of the free ... Remember this ... Adam Rupps beat box solo live (2015 version with over a million views) And one song that is not original but was arranged by Adam (The beat boxer) and is just stunning ... Do you hear what I hear ... I could go on but will stop there. Great reaction guys 🙂
React to Listen to the Music! A 70's rock hit done by Home Free and it's a banger!
Don't watch anyone else beside HF!!! Subbed for more
I’m a die hard Home Fry and subbed for more Home Free, the are by far my favorite group. If you want to try a couple of their originals I would suggest Playin’ With Fire and Catch Me If You Can as a start, the have quit a few originals. Love these boys! Thank you for a fun reaction! #HomeFree
If you happen to like the Doobie Brothers "Listen To The Music," you need to check out Home Free's cover of it. Gets me chair dancing!!
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. They are the pinnacle of Acapella.
Sea shanty medley
Butts medley
End of the road
Home free are great! They achieved the unthinkable with me. I’m a Scottish gal living in Australia about as far removed from country music as you can get (I think the only “country” song I ever liked was Steps- 5.6.7.8 way back in the 90’s as a literal child) but hell Home free made me start to really like country music, they pulled me in and now I want cowboy boots and a country man hahah .
If you want another cover version of this song you should check out Geoff Castellucci’s cover. He is the bass singer from another acapella group called Voiceplay. They’re buddies with Home Free and appeared on the same season of The sing off.
They are have a less country slightly more varied genres- 80’s rock (dream on, in the air tonight), Metallica, theatre songs, Disney etc.
Great reaction. Thank you guys.
The song was originally published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan & Joan Baez among others. Home Free is entirely acapella - there are no instruments. Their singing & harmonies are impeccable & their beatboxer (Adam Rupp) is incomparable. 3 of them are song writers so there are lots of originals as well as covers. Dive down the rabbit hole!
Choose anything in their catalogue ... you'll never be disappointed ! #HOMEFREE
Subscribe for more Home Free.
Subbed for more Home Free. In the Blood, Take me Home Country Roads any and all please.
Love #HomeFree
I love their cover of end of the road, when aan loves a woman and how great tho art.
A great original song the Bass (Tim Foust) wrote is "Champagne Taste (On a Beer Budget)". I think this song will be right up your alley.
They also have great covers of some classic songs "Love Train" by the O'Jays, "End of the Road" by Boyz 2 Men, "All About that Bass" by Meghan Trainor, "Brothers In Arms" by Dire Straights, "Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks, and especially "Go Rest High On That Mountain" by Vince Gill.
The most mind blowing cover of the group is "Mayday" by Cam, however you HAVE to watch at least a dozen other songs from Home Free to get the full appreciation of that song.
The last guy on the screen was doing the jaw harp.😉
Subscribed for #HomeFree 🤟 🤠 🤟 great reaction!! 🔥🔥🔥
All of their stuff is "fresh". Check out the Butts Remix!
Their beatboxer Adam Rupp is doing the nomonica and the drum sounds.. The jaw harp is coming from Adam Chance, the one in the black vest. A staple of every Home Free concert is the Ruppster's Drum Solo. Since it's live and has been done for years there are several slightly different versions on youtube, so check out the original video (he's in the red plaid shirt) then the more recent ones (dated 2021 to 2023) with the looping station. They did a video for Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, then a live in concert version called 9 to 5 + Beatboxing Breakdown where all 5 of them beatbox. I'd also recommend their video for the song Brother. The song is serious and heartfelt, the video is fall out of your set laughing funny. (The warrior woman is Austin girlfriend, now wife.) I'll also recommend a non-singing bit they used to do when Chris was still with them called Story Time with Tim. Three of my favorites are titled Home Free Story Time with Tim Dayton, Ohio 10-1-15, Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) Home Free, and Home Free Vocal Band - Story Time with Tim. Hope you enjoy these.
This group is Amazing! Try a few of there other songs..
In this song they used loopers. They record the jaw harp sound plus the dum dum do sound.. so they can sing other stuff all while the recorded stuff keeps playing.
Subbed for more #HomeFree - hope you will pursue more of their releases. I don't think you can go wrong and several folks have given you suggestions that I don't disagree with. Have fun!! Keep em coming!
They do a cover of ring of fire with Avi Kapland . Home Free has tons of great music. All styles of music... fun is the Butts Melody, Pretty Woman cover of Roy Orbison, Sea Shanti Melody, Elvira with the Oakridge Boys, God bless the USA with Lee Greenwood and the US Military, My Church, Brother, Boyz II Men - End of the Road, Die a Happy Man, Go Rest High on that Mountain, and even Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer to name some very different styles and songs. Some serious and some messing about... many, many more. Can you tell I love home free? You can go on a great journey of discovery
New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas that excel in all music genres. They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother and Stargazer Lilies trilogy: Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies and Mr. ...Their latest releases are Might As Well Be Me, Playing With Fire, Remember My Name, Oh, Pretty Woman, Cruise, Stand By Me, Colder Weather and Life is a Highway. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Adam Chance just wrote the theme song to Ubisoft's new Pirate themed video game, Skull and Bones and Home Free performs it. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
Love Home Free and bass Tim Foust. You should check out their good friends from The Sing-Off VoicePlay #TheatreKidsOfACapella. They lean to the theatrical and cover everything from Metallica to Disney. Their bass Geoff Castellucci is also amazing and good buds with Tim.
Glad to see you enjoying your self one you need to check out is American pie it is Awesome 👍👍👍.
More Home Free please!!!🎶🔥✌
Groups don't really like to be compared to other groups. Give them their own props!
Subbed for more Home Free! :)
Welcome to the Home Fries basket. The movie version is actually Dan Tyminski and Union Station dubbed in for George Clooney. Union Station and Alison Krauss is THE bluegrass standard. The HF guys are not only amazingly talented singers but they are funny guys too and some of their videos are intentionally hilarious. If you want to laugh, try the Butts Remix/Medley next.
The O Brother version was also a cover, the song was actually first published around 1913, but is older than that. The O Brother song was performed by Dan Timynski from Union Station, Alison Krause’ band.
🤠🔥🤠
Hmmm... a metal version. That might be a keeper.
Oh, and Adam, the beatboxer....he's got a great tenor voice (,although he prefers not to sing) and hes a really good dancer. Plays the most instruments as well.
You like Metal. 2 suggestions:
Voice Play - Nothing Else Matters a Metallica cover
Dan Vasc - Amazing Grace (With a Metal Twist)
Welcome to the rabbit hole. These guys are amazing and just as good live. Pick anything they do and it's 🔥. As for a metal cover there is a hard rock cover of this song by Charm City Devils and its really good to.
Correction ... just saw them in concert a few weeks ago ... they're even better live LOL !
I saw them in Tennessee a few weeks ago too.
The "bass player" is usually Tim, the bass, but not always. If Tim is doing the lead, then Chance is probably doing the bass. Oh, and, uh, the two tenors are mighty fine at opera, too. (not kidding, not even a bit) If you like unworldly harmony, listen to their cover of Helplessly Hoping, by Crosby, Stills & Nash. They goof around, too. Watch the Butts Medley. It's a very long, deep rabbit hole... Not just country.
The 'nomonica' reactions are great. TY
#HOMEFREE
Home free. Boyz II men cover. End.of the Road.
