Well, to answer the early questions: Defying Gravity and Dancing Through Life might be my favorite numbers, big mentions to The Wizard and I, and No One Mourns the Wicked. The soundtrack is absolutely worth listening to, but it has a ton of the mid-song speech, so there are bound to be spoilers, so maybe see the movie first? I haven't seen the Broadway show, but even without that, I loved the movie, and can't wait for the second part.

She was 10 years old here . The concert with Emma Kok was many years later, same venue. Amira is older than Emma.

The other performer's name is Kristin Chenoweth. She played April Rhodes in Glee. I'm not sure if you'll remember her character, but she was a drunk older woman that was brought into New Directions to be the lead after Rachel quit in season 1. She came back multiple times in Glee.

To answer your question, she doesn't fly around in the stage version. There's typically a platform lifting her into the air, and there's fog concealing everything from her feet down, so the platform is hidden and it looks like she's flying.

I always thought Kristin Chenowerh and Idina Menzel’s voices are too similar and I love that Ariana and Cynthia’s voices are very distinguishable. it’s been years since I saw the musical but I don’t recall her being on a broom flying around. She was just kind of raised up like she was floating.
