1:19 This doesn't necessarily mean 2 didn't happen or was a dream, I find it to be a cheeky nod towards 2. I'm almost 100% sure that 4 is between 1 and 2, but I doubt this means every other game didn't happen
despite commenting on it more I agree, i feel like most fans saying they retconned 1-3 are just not considering the possibility of an alternate timeline like zelda has, this could easily just be the pikmin 1 bad ending timeline making 1-3 and 4 all canon just different canons
