@@kinnickburkart9621 they aren't mushrooms though they lack a lot of traits mushrooms have and they reproduce sexually (with a queen) plus olimar puts them under the "grub-dog" family and not under any mushroom group

I downloaded a Pikmin demo on my 3DS because I'd never played a Pikmin game before and only vaguely knew what it was about. About halfway through a stage I started hearing this high-pitched, distressed squeaking from the little dudes left behind. I figured maybe it was because I'd been gone too long, like a separation anxiety mechanic to keep ypu from getting too far away? NOPE. I came back and my poor little babies were being EATEN. It's like Clarice Starling and the screaming lambs; I deleted the demo but I can still hear the terrified squeaking. It haunts me.

My favorite type of Pikmin is the Gun Pikmin.

This was the most entertaining first-time Pikmin playthrough I've seen, I love seeing new people come to this franchise
I really miss how basic everything was in the first pikmin. It was pure chaos and took great leadership to keep everyone from dying.
Man, I remember how deadly fire is in this game compared to others. A small amount of time to call and extinguish it.
Kill all enemies first is what I have learned from this.
Dont worry Liam, Cannon Beetle gets everyone dirty like that their first time.

Start with Pikmin 3. Please. For the love of God. Start with 3. Play 1 and 2 after.

@@seetrrusiak18 It’s the most polished and forgiving game of the series. I’m a big Pikmin fan and I love all 3 games, but I don’t think I would have gotten into the series the way I did with 3 if I played 1 first. Pikmin 3 is just a lot easier to control for a newcomer.
@@HanSanwich That's fair, it probably helps that i grew up with the first 2 games, i'm sure if i hadn't i would've found it harder to get into them
Nah I started with 1 cause I is not no coward give me the challenge even tho I lost over 800 Pikmin in Total in my crusade 😂
Meh. I was very underwhelmed with 3 and went back to 1 & 2 because they were so difficult at times and I loved the challenges lol.

I have since played through basically the entire trilogy (in the middle of Pikmin 3 right now). Yeah, I'd say I'm into it
Jeez Pikmin is such a stressful game, I played Pikmin 3 and I couldn’t finish it and didn’t want to. I couldn’t get myself to go through that again.

Hey, Liam, have you played Oddworld? It's a bit like Pikmin, except it's a puzzle platformer with a much darker story.
All those deaths could’ve been avoided either by the game being polished or had you actually known what you were doing.

While the game having polish would help, honestly he's just playing really badly. Most of those deaths were avoidable. 😂
But hey, we all start that way.
The polish of the later games is like bowling with bumpers. It protects you from yourself too much. I love the chaos of the first game.
