    IPA surface after claying. This removes any grease and tar from paint. Prep is the key. Under promise and over deliver. Great vid 👍

    Please any tips/tricks on long throw polisher stalling on curved panels vs 8mm throw

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      haha yeah, that can be a problem. What polisher do you have?

    • @caseyjohnson6573
      @caseyjohnson6573 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Max shine 15mm can't afford griots or rupes. Much different then a 8mm throw.

    I’m glad I take care of my car. I do 2 bucket wash method usually once a week; did my first correction on my first car 6 months ago since a DA polisher took some time to save for, used some meguiars ultimate compound and polish plus a clay all over; came out great, decided to apply 2 coats of jetseal from chemical guys even to the windows, looked amazing and the fact it looks better tham before it is amazing

    What about pressure on the machine when both polishing and compounding?

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For compounding, typically medium down pressure with slow arm movement. Polishing will be less pressure and could go with a bit faster arm movement

    What do suggest to do when it rains for work? I see Houston has had some rain and flooding I'm out here in San Antonio it's been raining on and off for the past two weeks.

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      1) Plenty of industries are impacted by rain, not just detailers
      2) A % of your sales should go into a backup account to always have money when you can't work
      3) Ask if you can work out of their garage or if they'd like to bring it to you
      4) Work on your marketing/operations while your are slow
      5) Accept that it sucks and you have to roll with the punches

      @@TheFatboy714 yeah smaller section passes are always better! I wish i can do smaller section but mostly everyone gets the all in one polish package. Not gonna go work for 8 hours for 350$ wouldn't be worth it.
