    One of the best xenoblade lore videos I’ve watched really interesting. Love how all the games can stand alone but when connected adds so much more depth. Its like if all you want is an engaging story it’s perfect as it is but if you dig deeper and want more it’s also their, it’s beautiful. It’s hard to pick a favorite since I think of the whole trilogy + their side stories as just one big package.

    Now that I've seen Alrest's orgin of life again it makes sense that all the Agnian characters seem to have core crystals on them. They're all born from the Titans so they would still have some sort of ancestral memory in their DNA.

    I see, I always thought that Klaus' gift at the end of Xenoblade 2 was just related to helping Alrest itself but it does make a lot of sense that he would have passed on all the collected data into the Trinity Processor Core Crystals at that moment, if it wasn't already done before. It's ironic if Z and Moebius's will creating the eternal hell of Aionios is what eventually saved everyone for complete annihilation in the end! Perhaps the world wasn't a complete Supervillainpon after all. ;)
    Truly preventing another "Klaus" from appearing in the future may not be possible, but the full co-operation of two separate worlds and their people is definitely a good start!

    • @Ontos99
      @Ontos99  14 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      I find it profoundly ironic that the Moebius that we've lamented and cursed in base XC3 is the reason why humanity was saved in the most fundamental sense. One thing FC makes clear is that Alpha existed at that moment, enforcing his will in a visceral way by strengthening the black fog via rifts to destroy olden mortals. If it were up to rogue Alpha, Origin would never be rebooted and all that would await Bionis and Alrest would be total oblivion.
      If not for Z and Moebius, the city people whom their data being of a unique genetic combination in Aionios would never come to be. And without that, Alpha would have no reason to enforce his will by finding a human avatar like Nael and starting his plans in Future Redeemed.
      Rogue Alpha, which slowly formed post-Zanza's death in XC1, is actually fascinating because he is embodying all the dangerous sides of Logos and Pneuma.
      Logos as in "wanting to destroy olden humans" and Pneuma as in "wanting only to save city people and move forward"(unlike Noah's party where he fights for everyone's benefit in base xc3)
      Alpha is a manifestation of what happens when misusing BOTH logos and pneuma's worldviews in xc2. Thats what happens when his core is fettered from Pneuma and Logos in XC2 as the connective tissue whom was the Architect is no longer. Without the opinions of Logos and Pneuma, this was the best Alpha could do. Glad we put some sense into him at the end ;)) as Matthew representing the will of Ouroborous - Pneuma while N representing the will of Moebius - Logos.
      The external powers as Takahashi-san mentions comes to finally 'inform' ontos at the end.

    Bro, this was such an emotional watch! You really know how to open up more thematics within the Xenoblade universe which get easily overlooked. Takahashi is friggin' brilliant, and Xenoblade 3 is a masterpiece even more after digesting the information you provided in this analysis video. It's unreal to think that the 'origin' point of the Xenoblade series comes full circle with humanity's desire to abandon the past and create the future, attempting to bury history in the process. This is why Origin's creation and the events of Moebius freezing the two worlds were a necessity in order for the 'real future' to come into fruition. I dont see how ontos would be the responsable of accelerating the worlds' crash using the fog/rifts in FC, and later aionios. If ontos wanted to erase both worlds they just had to not appear before shulk post FC, causing origin to not be created. It's sounds a bit stupid for ontos to help them with origin, if their plan was to end life since the start.
    Also in my opinion, ontos wasnt angry at humanity post shulk's wish. After all, a "heartless machine" doesnt have emotions, and alvis wouldnt hold a grudge for that. They just reverted to their basic 'machine state', now without purpose and logical imputs. Alvis most likely saw what would happen in the future, back in Xc1's ending, and probably planned for his core to be found by shulk later. Thus "a gift from alvis".
    Then in aionios, Ontos just followed the will/desire of humanity and watched Z doing his thing. We know that ontos was the avatar that kept aionios stable until FR (giving alpha access to the rifts) so why didnt they just let aionios collapse, instead of waiting for centuries? The city life wasnt present at the start of aionios after all. It's because they followed their arbiter role, using the conflict between the liberators/queens and moebius (a parallel to logos and pneuma's roles) deeming the old life obsolete, since they were locked in a never ending conflict. When they made their decision, FR starts.
    I think you took gael'gar's line too literally. He was just giving his meaning to the rift, so it wasnt a hint to alpha's motivations, since at that point Ontos doesnt even represent the world.
    But the video was great by the way, even if i disagree with some stuff you earned yourself another sub. I'll definitely check the others!

    • @Ontos99
      @Ontos99  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      First of all, thank you for the sub! Glad you liked it. Alpha would cause Origin to be 'not created' as you aptly put it...if he had the chance that is.
      Thankfully, Z and Moebius interfered just when the halves had connected (Origin wasn't booted until this moment. keep that in mind) The collective unconscious will of humanity (Z) generated Aionios in fear of complete annihilation.
      And guess what? Z was right. Alpha would never allow it. The very olden mortals who he 'abhors' so much can't go on to generate a new reality.
      I do not think Geal'gar's line should be taken metaphorically as what would be your interpretation in that angle? No solution exists by that logic.
      Explain how you'd interpret the 'world' he is referring that 'abhors' Bionis people.
      You can't say it is Alvis because it is Alpha that abhors old mortals let alone we see the same exact Rift in the final boss of FR which Aionios moment's artbook confirms to relate to Alpha, not Alvis.
      I see that some of these insights presented in this video may appear new and shocking to Xenoblade community which is precisely why I wanted to share it as my 'gift' in a sense ;))
      And I'll keep on 'giving' as Rex would say. Chapter 3 analysis of XC3 will come next probably. I hope you also watch the N and Noah analysis as that is my best work and personal favourite. • @Ontos99
      @Ontos99  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oh by the way, you've misunderstood the first part.
      When Shulk picks up the Ontos core at the beach in Bionis, Alpha can be formed but Klaus had already sent all the data Pneuma & Logos gathered to Ontos core in Bionis. He no longer has any say in the matter until the collision moment where he is tasked with 'rebooting the worlds'. Now that he can interfere. But thankfully, Z as the collective unconscious of humanity has interfered before the reboot.
      Alpha starts to form especially after Shulk acknowledges that he wants to forge a universe without a god. But Klaus' last gift was supplied to the ontos core before Alpha's creation.
      Which is why we see Alpha's rifts in Future connected. This is the best Ontos can do without the opinions of Logos and Pneuma in a universe 'without a god'. Alpha decided to erase it all.
      This is why Melia calls it as 'a gift from Alvis' rather than Alpha's referring to the ontos core design used to source Origin. Alpha wasn't formed just yet.Or another interpretation is even if Alpha was formed, this gift is of from Alvis and is still intact. Meaning Alpha has no influence on it.
      Hope this clarifies.
      Much love

    • @Unoj151
      @Unoj151 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Ontos99 What i meant with alpha not having a reason to 'create origin' is: origin was possible just because shulk found ontos' core on the beach. So ontos, who was already back in their machine state, decided to be found by shulk leading to origin's creation, thus giving humanity a possibility of survival. If at that point Ontos already wanted to erase life they would have just done nothing, causing origin to not be constructed in the first place. I hope it makes sense, sorry, english isn't my main language.
      Gael'gar's line is to be taken by the point of view of his character. It represent what he thinks during FC, and it's just the meaning he gives to the rift. Not every line serve a grand narrative, hinting at other stuff, especially if it's said by someone who doesnt even know what he's talking about. But i do belive that the line is a sort of hint to some of the feelings that will form moebius decades later. It shows that some of the 'seeds' were there from the start.
      The rifts arent related to alpha directly. They are tears in a plane of reality. Alpha uses one in FR as a source of energy (he enters one to create his final artifice for example). They are basically 'mini conduits', since their are doors from which energy of different plane leaks out. Being aionios' avatar allow alpha to destabilize certain areas of aionios, causing a controlled rift. And that's why when the avatar is replaced by A, shulk and Rex to keep the world stable, the rifts are gone from aionios. But before origin, so in FC, the rifts were just natural. If ontos had the power to tear holes in reality, they could have just destroyed the worlds themself, without waiting the crash.
      I'll definitely whatch the N/Noah's video later, thanks. And good luck for future videos, keep it up!

    • @Unoj151
      @Unoj151 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Ontos99 The problem with that is: Klaus death happens when zanza dies, so the data you spoke in the video would have been sent during xc1/2's finale, just before the credits. While shulk finding ontos on the beach happens at least a year after Klaus' death. So, if i got your logic right, alpha was already formed by that time. Meaning that alpha letting himself to be found is not a smart move for his goal.
      Edit: grammar fixes

      @@Unoj151 Sure but Alpha does not have a say in 'appearing in Bionis or not'.
      The information is already sent by Klaus before his creation and Melia already regards this cutscene as 'Alvis' gift', not alpha.
      This is the 'legacy' Klaus is leaving their children.
      Alpha can't just 'erase this information' or decide 'not to appear on Bionis'. His will extends to many things but he is not omnipotent.
      By that logic, all Alpha had to do was to press 'turn off' button and erase all existence he abhors so much and just leave the city people.
      But he is still bound by at least some rules he can't bend. Which is precisely why he needed a human avatar like Nael to enforce his will on the world (of his making)

    I might be missing something, but the architect transfers data to who or where exactly? And when is origin made ik it stores the data that architect transferred but there’s this middle piece I’m missing. is it made while alpha extends the fog or 🤔

    • @Ontos99
      @Ontos99  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Of course. Allow me to explain. Ontos core has been as Klaus says, generated a space time transition and disappeared. Disappeared where, you would ask? Well, Bionis of course. Furthermore, A says that her original (Alvis in XC1) was shaped by Klaus (The Architect) and was shouldering the man's regrets.
      What Klaus does in that projection room is gathering all the information Trinity processor has gathered including the information regarding Logos and Pneuma and they are sent (right before Conduit disappears) to the Ontos core Shulk picks up on Bionis.
      Now, both planets (Bionis and Alrest) has the architectural design which allows the Origin spheres to be created in a congruent manner. In a way that will create a new reality post collision using the energy generated by the anti-matter explosion.
      This data which Klaus sends right before his demise is the 'last gift' that he provides to his children. Klaus had foreseen all of it. Gave his children 'the way out' by allowing the creation of a project like Origin by giving all the necessary information Pneuma and Logos has gathered to Ontos core crystal in Bionis.
      As... if Klaus failed to provide this data, the Ontos core residing in Bionis would not have the necessary information to create their part of the Origin Sphere. Even if a technology could be developed on the side of the Alrest, without the Bionis half, the Origin project would be doomed to fail. A conjoined effort was needed. And that conjoined link was the Architect (in Alrest) and Alvis (in Bionis)
      Which is how Klaus manages to send this information before his demise. In his 'last gift', Malos wasn't yet defeated by Rex which you can confirm by rewatching the cutscenes in XC2. Now the Origin project is possible. All three core trinities are intact: Pneuma, Logos and Ontos. Ready to write the memories of all life forms in words of light to be saved.
      I hope these are some nice additional insights. Much love. Feel free to rewatch parts of this video and let me know your questions.

    And to make sure I am understanding correctly are you saying that during the 'prehistoric' era of Aionios black fog rifts and fog beasts were even more aggressive than ever? Only subsiding once fresh life that wasn't already 'tagged' as bad was created. I also assume that the point where Alpha considered it appropriate to 'set off' was at the point that city life matched original life or perhaps just once it deemed the population large enough to succeed genetically as it reintroduced them to a new world.

    • @Ontos99
      @Ontos99  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes. When the first city human was born, Alpha backed off on aggressively increasing and strengthening the black fog via rifts but thats merely to enact his own plan. "Unlike in Future Redeemed, he doesn't care about starting anew." I don't know man, but I think this is wrong. One, he was still Alvis before Alpha and A were forced to separate by Ghondor. Two, if he hated humanity so much, why would he help Shulk take down Zanza? Why would he give his core crystal to Shulk and allow for the construction of Origin?
    Alvis helped Shulk because he hated Zanza's oppression. He decided to start anew in Aionios because he hated Z's oppression. Besides, one of Moebius's biggest character flaws/evil traits is that they actively don't care. They are functionally immortal beings. They are eternally *bored*. To them, humanity is their plaything. They don't care about killing or using people. This was abhorrent to Alvis.

    • @Ontos99
      @Ontos99  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      No. FC and Aionios Moments makes it clear that Alpha existed in the timeline of the Future connected post Zanza's death in XC1.
      You cant make the argument that Alpha didnt exist until Ghondor separated alvis there. Thats completely wrong. A is merely Alpha's suppressed conscience taking form thanks to Ghondor's pneuma and Ourborous powers.
      Alpha was "already" alpha by that point. He has taken over Origin from the clutches of Z and now is looking to enforce his will further by finding an avatar like Nael. Saying Alpha didnt existed until Ghondor separating A is flat out wrong.
      Furthermore Alvis helped out shulk UNTIL his decision to create a universe without a god.
      Alvis obviously existed until zanza was defeated. Alpha only starts appearing after Zanza/Klaus gets defeated. Alvis helps us because as the lore goes he is "shouldering the architect's regrets"
      That was the moment Alpha started to emerge as shown in FC with rifts. Without a "god" (klaus), Alvis was no longer mediated by pneuma and logos, resulting in the alpha as we know it in Aionios.
      If Shulk decided to be a god of sorts, maybe he would be the connective tissue preventing the formation of Alpha but that didnt happen. All connection of pneuma and logos was severed in a universe without a god.
      Hope this helps brother. Much love

      In fact, saying Alvis existed until Ghondor separated A idea is so wrong that it doesnt take into account how pneuma and malos'' powers are as said by Takahashi san "external powers".
      From the begining of Aionios, pneuma and malos have been supressed by Alpha as his connection was severed at the end of XC1.
      If Alvis as you surmise existed wise just like XC1 portrayal why would the pneuma and malos be external powers supressed in Aionios?
      Because the Ontos was already Alpha from the very begining of Aionios, not Alvis.
      As how can Alvis continue to carry Klaus' regrets after his death and descend from godhood. Alvis changed and morphed into Alpha the moment Shulk has decided to forge a universe without a god.
      Which is precisely why we see Alpha's rifts in Future connected. Long before the creation of Aionios
      Hope these insights help. Much love.

      @@Ontos99 Alvis was Alvis before he needed to seek out Na'el. He was Alvis until Ghondor separated him.
      If Alvis only wanted destruction, why did he allow Aionios to exist for so long and Z/Moebius to accrue so much power before he intervened? He didn't intervene because he was honoring Shulk's wish of a world without gods. He only intervened because he wanted to take down the "god" that Z believed himself to be.
      Alvis and then Alpha say over and over that they abhor what Z has done with Aionios. Believe him.

      @@RSanchez111 This is not a question of believing. If you believe Alpha didnt exist until Ghondor has separated A, then you need to explain how Nael was already Alpha's avatar at that point in time (remember she was fighting N) and she was doing so to save the city people. Remember thats Alpha's goal. Not Alvis in XC1.
      That logic is completely false. Alpha not only existed by then but he started forming shortly after XC1 which we see direct evidence with Rifts in Future connected. This is undeniable evidence if you read the Aionios Moment's artbook stating the rift Alpha embodies in the final boss fight has appeared in the XC:FC
      "Its proof definite the world abhors you"...Alpha abhors all old mortals (Bionis and Alrest life forms)

      @@Ontos99 Na'el was only Alvis's avatar after he was weakened in his fight with Z, Shulk and Rex. You need an explanation for why A never showed up until after the City was destroyed.
