Unrelated, but by far the biggest misconception I think people have about Xenoblade 3, is the believe that its message is to let go of the past, when in reality it is about properly reflect on the past and integrate it into the future. Facing and processing past trauma, instead of running away and hiding from that painful reflection. Moebius contain all of the individuals past memories, yet they also fear confronting said memories, Ouroboros on the other hand embody the strength to walk towards the future, yet all they devour without any true identity of their own. To truly move forward, Moebius must come together with the Ouroboros. The past must come together with the future. Hence, the true power of interlinking is unleashed when N and Matthew come together. Consequently, Z is defeated when Noah manages to reconnect with N.
Z and Alpha represent the most extreme aspects of the Moebius and the Ouroboros, but both poles, on their own, are not inherently bad. The game is not about the superiority of Ouroboros against Moebius or the absolute truth of one over the other, as many seem to believe.

13:56 look at how proud he is of the next generation🥲
The fact that what he told Jin actually happened right in front of him with Matthew. It's all so damn good. God I love this series so much.

This video gives me hope for the future. The world is scary, cruel, and imbalanced, but if we do our bit, we can leave change that outlasts even us. Thank you.
Ps, your voice is wonderful. Thank you for making this video

I re-watched the final showdown with Jin after future redeemed. Before this video even I noticed it, which is why I knew exactly where you were going. In retrospect, that great scene from 2, now It hits like a freight train. That kid meant every last word he said to the dying man. For he was right. It was one of his own children that picked up the torch and continued the effort of seeing to a world forged where people understood one another, hand in hand. It's one of the most profound narrative realizations in the series in my estimation. If not, the most.
It's for that reason that i'm not even mad that the line of implication and understanding would have us believe that Rex and Shulk were fine in the end following the reactivation of origin. Normally, my stance is dead is dead, and it should be permanent. But Rex's words holding water, is enough to undo that in my opinion, and for it to feel earned. As a child he promised a dying man, Jin, someone who had once himself walked this difficult road, that someone else would pick up this dream, and someone else did. He wasn't there to stand alongside his daughter, Mio, in that effort. But she had unknowingly inherited his will. So, Shulk and Rex will live out their natural lives with their children. It's the future that ouroboros fought for. It will be a relatively happy life. But it will be filled with ups and downs. Utopia is not something they will achieve. And that's okay. It doesn't mean they failed.
Next up for Xenoblade seems to be the fabled point of it's connection to saga. Something japanese fans have long speculated on. I haven't the faintest idea what that will entail narratively, even as someone who played the saga games. But all's I know is that the future will entail trying to achieve that eternal dream Alvis had long ago of a world where people walk together hand in hand.

This is the first video i've seen of yours and i have to say it was so incredible! Also i love the Ontos necklace.
But yeah from your own music to the way you narrated everything i ended up getting chills here and there, this was truly a beautiful way to talk about the series as a whole and obviously XC3 and FR as an ending to the Klaus saga, aswell as how it reflects our own world and lives.
One thing i wanna add that i've realized recently is the fact that both XC3 and FR push this idea that emotions and will can become a form of power if strong enough.
For ex. The reason Noah and Mio end up existing a 1000 years later after M and N have become Moebious is purely out of regret (N) and repentance (M) for becoming Moebious.
And this isnt even the first time we've seen this beacuse case in point is Mythra and Pyra who are literally the prime example of strong emotions being capable of creating a whole person, heck the whole reason Aionios exists in the first place is because the souls inside of Origin are afraid of their respective worlds ending and them dying, which in turn creates X, Y and Z.
It doesnt even stop there! Theres SO many examples both in the main storys of XC3 and FR as well as their respective side quests that talk about this, i mean during Mio's side story Noah literally says that its all about feelings aka emotions and its the reason why off-seeing works in the first place, case in point there are multiple side quests were these off-seers struggle with their emotions and cant seem to send people off and its not until Noah and Mio help them trough their internal struggles that they are able to see people off.
Another good example is in FR between N and Nael when they first appear in front of the whole gang at the lake, N literaly says that Nael is not strong enough to defeat him beacuse her emotions are weaker than his or as he puts it "you fail to reach such a zenith".
I could keep going from things like how N and Noahs swords of the end/origin are only as powerfull as they are purely beacuse of N and Noahs emotions and wills, i mean the moment you unlock true lucky seven is when Noahs resolve to destroy the world and change it is at his stronges! So strong in fact that he is able to use it in his Ouroboros form.
Or when the main partys emotions and wills are so strong not even Z power is strong enough to prevent them from fusing into Ouroboros! I seriously recommend atleast going over the cutscenes of XC3 and FR and just paying attention to the characters emotions and wills and how it affects the story.
Anyway sorry for such a long comment to anyone who reads this i just really love the Xenoblade series, it has become a part of me and who i am as a person for the rest of my life and the things i've learned and felt from these game will always be a part of me, i cant wait to see what Testuya Takahashi and the rest of the team at Monolithsoft do next with Xenoblade. Once again this was such a great video thank you for making it and hopefuly more people get to watch it!

@@gyro1880 Ah i havent had a chance to play Xenogears but given how Xenoblade 3 is a direct reimagination of that game and how many connections FR makes to the past Xeno games, mainly Saga, it would make alot of sense!

I've always felt Na'el's character drew parallels with Shania. They both had very little faith in the current state of things, leading them off the deep end.

Love how you worried that the game would be what everyone else Hoped it would be. Fanservice... I myself had no opinions on what i wanted from the game, since i saw no trailers before the game came out. That resulted in me not being let down in anyway, cause i had no expectations. That why i never watch xenoblade trailers before having played the game. Great video!
