It's not even the awd that destroys him. The only way he could compete would be getting a one ton or multiton chassis and replacing the Galaxy's frame with that.
But on the upside he could get his hands on a 30s or 40s sedan body and plop it on the Galaxy's frame and have a bagged lowrider :V

@@justgauth Nitrous is allowed at these events for a reason. You have ample time to prepare, build, and tune your engine with nitrous if you want. Don't be an idiot eh?
@@codejunki567 These trucks were built to work, so were the engines in them, using nitrous is unrealistic in a work truck's world considering the damage it could cause, all im saying is, it would be more interesting if the engines were ran like they are supposed to be.
I have no idea what I am doing here, but glad I stuck around to watch. That was satisfying.

If you tried pulling a bobcat like this with a BMW or Audi diesel it would twist the frame like a twizzler
The impressive thing nobody talks about is the transmissions on the big American trucks, most automatics equipped are made by Allison (they’re known for heavy equipment drivetrain) and they’re very, very strong. A bmw suv would probably destroy its gearset trying to move a load like that, at that rate of speed.

No doubt i love this but would love to see an emissions challenge added, as sure they can blow coal but this day in age its about both and its the future if we want to keep sports like this alive or as daily's...or least buy some trees hahaha

They are launching as hard as they can without nitrous. 10.8sec is insane for a 3,5 ton truck

Paco when the steering switches from hydraulic to diesel turbo powered. It helps with speed

Paco most of these trucks are in 4wd and make so much power that when the driver locks the converter, the truck is torque steering.

Why is the trap speed so low?
1/8th mile, 12K pound load, 7k pound truck, oh and it's in Denver. Pretty sure the density altitude is 7-8k feet.
But it’s like 11-12 sec 1/4 mile it’s impossible to have such a low trap speed.
