Thank you Chuck, and thanks for mentioning FBHS. I added some more yesterday with newfound confidence from your words and will keep buying with the long term view that I can be confident I am not overpaying for my purchases. This is only my 2nd year investing so you can imagine my current confusion and doubt.
Went ahead and pulled the trigger on Fastgraphs subscription. Absolutely wonderful research tool. I only got the basic vs premium and would like to see a video on premium features to see value. Would you mind adding WHR, UPS, and PYPL to your next subscriber request video Thank you Chuck
I get excited when I see Chuck getting excited. 😄 Bought a portion of Target yesterday and I'm planning to add more to that small and relative new position.
Great content, thank you, Chuck? What about BBY? Great buying opportunity in my opinion. I would love to hear your thoughts about it. Than you in advance.
I first subscribed to Fastgraphs in 2008, in the middle of the Great Recession. What it did for me was allow me to see what turned out to be perhaps once in a lifetime bargains, and buying the best undervalued cos. instead of succumbing to fear. This more than any other factor allowed me to retire early, with a constantly increasing dividend paycheck- on an average at best working salary. It is still helping me as the market turns bearish again..
Extreme fear, extreme put buying, extreme divergence between smart & dumb money bullishness, extreme bearishness in retail sentiment surveys generally are good at identifying at least short term bottoms. These indicators are all present right now.
Bought PH in 2020 so thank you Chuck you bring that stock to my attention in 2020 and also thank you for Ladder Capital. You said in March 2020 it could be a high flier and it surely is. I tripled my money on it and still get 20% yield on cost.
Buffet time on the Market. Rost,Cisco,Tgt,Lnc,Amp,Best Buy,Fbhs,Pru,lzb, smg,Vfc,FL and many more.... Would like to see your Opinion on Rost,i think a great Company after the big drop.
A couple of names to keep an eye on which are younger public small caps but have good financials and leadership -- PUBM & LOVE. Value play I like right now is DFS. Suggesting these for a future video. Thank you and I love the product! It's a well made tool.
Thanks, Chuck. I always learn something new when watching your videos. This one greatly illustrated the power of the custom calculator. I did not know until watching this that you can update the price to get the latest perspective on the stock.
Great presentation. Thank you Chuck. One brief question: when you dialed new EPS estimates in custom forecasting, from what source did you get new estimates?
What an exciting time! For so long I was sitting on the sidelines waiting for the markets to correct and now it's finally happening. I've been putting my money into the market for the past couple of months and will continue to do so as the markets go down.
Absolutely not. Otherwise all deals will be done. Only reason why value investing works is because most people invest like morons. If all people are educated than no more discounts and value picks. Let the crowd to be buying Tesla, Apple, Coinbase, Peloton, Gamestop so we value investors can buy great companies for cheap.
GREAT & TIMELY video Chuck! Is there a way to save the manually entered revised estimates and most current price so they are not lost when toggling back and forth between FG screens? If not, could that be a future enhancement>? Thanks Chuck
Chuck, I learn so much from your weekly presentations and you save me a tremendous amount of time looking for stock to purchase. Most of my income & growth portfolios are made up from your suggestions over the years and they have all done well. Thanks for all you do for us.
Thank you Mr. Carnevale for your hard work in this tumultuous times. I am observing the markets and focus on industrial and materials sectors, as I think some of the next leaders may emerge from there. Can you check domestic names like Boeing, DuPont, Otis, GLW Corning, Emerson Electric or any you might find interesting. Much appreciated.
Hi Chuck, I hope that every investor gets to see this video. One of the best in my opinion and worth your buying a new shirt just for the occasion :-). I have TGT in my portfolio and will be adding to it in the near term. I nearly thought you were going to sign off with a recitation of the poem "IF" by Rudyard Kipling. Cheers!
Hi Chuck, I am a FASTGraphs subscriber (1 month user). Can you make video on good buy opportunities each week in a few sectors with stock dividend + growth and purely growth. Do you offer a service to advise which stocks are good value to buy now? Do you offer a service to help people to buy stock ? Also can you provide a personal usage package that is a bit more expensive than the basic plan to unlock the sales or other features, perhaps limit the ticker lookup to 100 per month.
Hi Chuck, I completely agree that Fastgraphs has helped me keep my head cool as I've seen many of my high conviction companies getting pounded. But when I zoom out and look at the company's potential it reminds me of why I made the decision to take a stake in the first place, and keeps the fear in check. Thanks!
Excellent quality. I will change my monthly plan to yearly. Some European stock analysis such as Roche pharmaceutical would be great. I could have saved many wrong decisions such as tencent music had I known about farstgrahs earlier
NOT buying any stocks this week, too many earnings reports. I'm guessing that most will miss projected earnings and the market will drop even further. Buyer Beware.
Investors who base their buy and sell decisions on the stock price have a real difficult time believing Peter Lynch when he said that you could be right buying a stock that lost value and you could be wrong buying a stock that went up in value. They really struggle with that.
Thank you for this video. Because I am presently fully invested the only way I can get cash to buy would be to sell something, mostly at a loss. What I need is the patience PGHY JOB!
Thank you for another excellent, informative video! The review of the duration of recessions, historically, was fascinating. As a value investor, it's actually very exciting to find bargains. Thanks to this video, I am considering initiating a long position in TGT -- keeping an eye on a further price drop. Typically, I am not attracted to retail, but this company is a monster, and I love the dividend!
Target actually does not have shortages right now. Neither does walmart or home depot. They actually have far too much inventory on hand to the likes these companies have never seen before in their business histories. These stocks are dropping due to other factors unrelated to supply chain issues.
You sir have both made me and saved me a shit ton of money in 2022
Thank you for your perspective & knowledge Chuck!!

Well said. You really helped to relieve the investor jitters.🙂
Chuck, wen moon?
Thank you Mr. Carnevale! I think that it should be mandatory to watch this video by every investor before investing on Wall Street! God bless you!

Chuck, do you have a portfolio subscription other than Fast graphs for us to take advantage of your buy and sell recommendations?
Dividend kings on Seeking Alpha.
He is not part of div kings anymore.
Thank you, Chuck. Calm, rational videos like this are helpful and reassuring.

You can open a new tab and have it there so it will not be lost.
Thoughts on abbv? Time to buy yet?

Ever look at BIG , biglots.

Great Stuff, but that is based on earning forecasted currently. What if the earnings change, the whole chart would change.
Of course it would they are forecast’s after all. Nothing replaces continuous comprehensive research and due diligence.
I think it is worth pointing out that the most comparable recession with the oil crisis in the 70s lasted nearly 10 years :/
Mondknall: I believe that recession only lasted 3 years. How are you measuring that? Thanks Chuck
Pentair misses 9/10 by 40-50% average....that's a no thanks in my book

Half of those stocks suck
Why they sucks? Because they outperform indexes for decades? Is that a new meaning of sucks?
Index stocks suck to, because your paying money for someone to manage them, just buy the top 10 they have in the fund, and get qualified dividends
