I doubt it was overloaded, we using these for electric Skateboard ratings and we put way more loads on them without fails, that antispark bs will be the closest thing to have this happen after 50% power..

Turn the punch down that should help it from overloading so quick, I think its got 100mph in this beast for sure, Cant wait to see it 😁

I will definitely try that because it seems like at any speed, it just wants to come up.

Yes I agree with you... I think your overloading the motor and the esc is picking up on that and shutting off. I'd drop a few teeth as well bro and try that. 😉💯...... I'll be looking forward to seeing it again.

Yes sir they do make more powerful lipos man smc max amps and hv Onyx 9800 mah lipos way more powerful then those...but nice run

I've had bad luck with smc lipos in the past. I have never been a fan of max amps, but I haven't tried onyx high voltage yet.

I run the same set up. My gearing is 46 30. But I'm running it on 12s. You will hit 100 mph all day long on 12 s.

I am on 12s. 2 HV 6800 6s Advanced 22.8v. 4.35 volts per cell fully charged, so running 52.2v.

That ESC should have no issues pulling that to 100 mph is it were actually a 1/4 scale ESC. Hobbywing have always been lackluster in my opinion. They are reliable, but they just dont put down the numbers you would expect. People have been running 30 pinion and 30 spur on the big 1/5 scale Arrmas for years on XLX2s without issue. Hobbywing motors seem to always throw temper tantrums when it comes to power output.

I run qs-8 plugs on my castle electronics, but I haven't had a problem over Ampang these ic5/ec5 plugs yet. They don't even get hot when I use them on this build. I have the qs-8 plugs. I just haven't switched over yet, but I'm sure I will.
