    This was a really excellent performance! At the end you can hear its sweet little heart beating... I love my LYRA8 but I haven't got very far with it yet as I've had other calls on my time. But it's amazing to play - it draws you into its world and you become part of it.

    Beautifully set-up and played. Repeating pulse for the complex LFO is great. Love that you haven't drenched it in reverb like most people seem to do ! Pure. Real nice.

    This Lyra drone is unique - love that feedback like drive/sound.
    I just got mine - I don't have the skills (yet) to play the Lyra 8 in a decent way ✌️.
    What a fine synthesizer - this organismic "thing" will add nice @ layers to upcoming projects, performances & releases.
    Jump on and take this ride --> @RDOo

    This beast seems at first scarily unplayable but then you just made it sing beautifully. How much practice did it take to get to this point? I'm curious as it fascinates me as much as it scares me!

    you deserve my most sincere compliments. i've been using one at least once a week, and for hours at length, for the last three or four months, and my expression on it isn't half as rich and fluid as your own.
    but... hey, i know why: i've found only a black one when i shopped for it; had it been a white one, like yours, i sure would be much better at it! :-)
    but, while the stand alone practice feels great with it in my experience, the one thing i couldn't come to term with is the delay: given how solidly deep and focused the Lyra-8 output is, i believe "lo-fi" doesn't do it full justice, and i can't think that the delay is an instrument on its own (here onboard, at least).

    Hi, is it normal for Lyra-8 to have a high pitched sound on main output when main volume is at +60% ( and nothing is being played? )

      @johannasbjoernson918 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      mix for delay turned fully left (ccw, off), modulation switch for voices set to middle (off), hold is turned fully left (ccw, off), drive is off (or mix fully ccw, hence off)? - shouldn't make much sound, except for a bit rustling noise.. depending on how high you set volume for mixer/interface channel.. - for me at least.

    Sorry about the silly question, but what stand are you using for your Lyra?

      I don't know for sure, but it looks like a laptop stand. I found a product on thomann.de called millenium laptopstand that looks close.

      @thetimefly 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is an odyssey laptop stand. It is the only one I found that isn’t in a fixed position and has a tilt adjustment

    Why are you sliding your hand up the casing? I've got a Lyra and I wasn't aware that did anything.

      I hope you realize how absurd your comment sounds.

      Can we hear Lyra without the Lyra fx please. Would you prefer a nice clean 80s lexicon reverb? ;)
