    “If you look at the world like an orchestra, everyone has an instrument and a note to play and each one brings its own important moment to the symphony.” Beautiful.

    Wow, Jedidiah! I just underlined "If my allegiance is with the truth, then I do not fear new evidence". AMAZING words (I am a spiritual person who happens to work as a high school science teacher, and these words resonate)

    They way that you and Jedidiah approached this subject was brilliant. Great empathy and intelligence...this is a notable podcast. Thank you.

    Rich is a master interviewer - he is so genuine. This dialog between Rich and Jedidiah is so good! I was so locked-in the heart and insights of Jedidiah’s life journey and discovery. Well done guys!

    Love this podcast so much. I am not gay but was shunned in church for a divorce. Church is a toxic place.

    SO glad that this was a podcast and that I can now read this book. I grew up in a Jehovahs Witness home and am very familiar with the struggles of patents who are doing what they think is best. And children growing up with the struggle and trying to find their own way in this world. I do not actually believe in god which is where our story changes. However, I am excited to read his book. I have been so angry for so long, I just recently lost my brother who battled with depression for so long. Growing up this way wasnt easy and it affected him more than I. And I am really struggling with the desire to point fingers and yell and scream. But I know it wont serve me in the long wrong, it will just continue to cause hurt and damage. I look fwd to this book. Thank you for sharing.

    Listening to this years later a second time... I have no idea how I didn't embody and absorb the truth I have been learning. I'm really drinking up every word you two are exchanging. Really makes for a good morning cup of tea. Thank you!

    This is the first time I have heard of Jedidiah but I am touched by his story and his words. I went over to Amazon and pre-ordered the audio book as I listen to this. I can't wait. Thank you Rich for all of the wonderful guests you have on.

    2:13:00..cerimonially v. cerimoniously...i had to look this one up but i think you got it right. cerimonially having to do with actual ceremony, ceremoniouslly is more metaphor.
    *edit..oh, crap, then you said 'metaphor'. it didn't sound right to my ear at first, maybe you did mean 'cerimoniously'. lol

    Marriage is a business idea not finding your true love; it is more strategic partnership; being selfish wanting love; chose to have a loving family and wife!

    How does Jedidiah know that his friends proud and love him? (it is a question to everybody)

    • @mbira1122
      @mbira1122 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because they’ve stood by him through tough times , like his best friend that he sexually “touched “ who was able to forgive him, talk to him and is still his best friend. It’s those that stand by you / him when you’re not at your best and they have nothing to benefit.
