Thank you for a really good advice, on how to once again be able to use Kodak 3A cameras, I have just bought a 3A through ebay and waiting for it to arrive. I also appreciate that you sacrificed a roll of film to do teach us..

Thanks to you and your video I have managed to test my Kodak No. 1 autobiographic Junior. Everything has become much clearer to me with your explanations. Thank you very much!

To make the adapters you need two spare 120 plastic spools. Take one of the spools and load it in the camera and measure the gap that's left to fill (make it a couple of mm shorter than the space so it will fit in). Cut the reel with a junior hacksaw and then insert a large paper clip bent over down the side, secure this with electrical tape. Then put this on the end of a normal sized spool for your take up spool, and another on the film spool. I'll do a video when I have a little spare time.

Thank you for this video on how to use the 3A for panorama. I was wondering something. On my 3A special, the red circle is far away from the winding crank. Instead of using 1,3,5,7... Could I use 2,4,6,8?
Video of my 3A special is in my channel. Thanks!

Holgamods makes 3d printed hub adapters to use 120 center of the back.

I'm using them, as well as their adapters for 118 and 101. Great for using these old odd format cameras

Hi - can you make adapter spools for me? I just bought the camera and would really like to use it. I do not know my way around a hacksaw. What would you charge? Thanks

They worked pretty well, but there must have been some light bouncing around inside and this showed up in places on the film. I've now put a piece of thin black cardboard (artist board) in the gap left above the film, using black electrical tape to stick it down. Haven't had a chance to try it since, will let you know how I get on.
