So just a heads up for future mate, your GMR and PBM numbers should be sent to you via your office etc, then the GMR must be put in on the website before you get to the dock of travel... input your number and itll give you a green/amber/red for a customs check. Then do the same with PBM but before you get to your port of arrival. Technically also, you should be displaying you 'angle morts' stickers on either side of the cab and trailer, and a UK sign on the side of your number plate... To go through belgium you need a toll box, you can get these from random laybys/truck stops in belgium (theyre like vending machines) you have to scan all your docs (v5 insurance etc) then pay the amount and itll give you the box, plug it into your cig lighter and the light will go green when in belgium... you can return them leaving belgium.. Hope this helps for future

I've never driven to UK, but in EU you must have CMR even if you don't cross any border. Is haulinng in UK so different? 🤔

As an owner operator I know what hassle it is to get in and out the UK with a lorry and a load. Experience makes it a lot easier. But I recognize your struggles at the port , just like I had in the beginning.

You can get the On board unit (OBU) for belgium roads at the borders its better to have it than not when it will be expensive😃 but fun to see i werent the only one having trouble getting the papers🤣

Harbour. Shipping dover rent Belgium boxes out(cos the machine at the border isnt allway available )give them a call & you pick it up from the port near the drivers reception & drop it off when you get back.
All of those documents you mention here should be provided by the sender of the goods up on loading. The alternative is that the numbers comes to your phone while driving towards the border and you go to a broker (like KGH) and get the papers presenting the numbers. If you have your own spediton firm andd take the hauls directly from the sender, its up to you to get all papers like export invoice, cmr etz from the sender of the goods and present to the customs to get a T1 or T2
As someone who works in logistics dealing with customs formalities, a T1 is not always needed, it can be a EUAA or EUAA T1 or EXAD or EXAD T1, but only if the stock is not customs cleared a T1 is needed. But most of all the T1 is always on request of the transporter / customer

Thought you said you was ready for Europe? Wheres the speed stickers on the trailer and cab? Doesn't the trailer need to be registered and have its own number plate now? Also morts angles stickers

I was going through Dover out of UK yesterday. My custom paperwork was almost 2 inches thick for 97 euro palets.
Everything must be in order, one wrong small mistake and you are stuck and this is for crossing from or in to UK. I actually going twice to custom becase Norway has own as well.
You just wasted time and fuel next time you must be better prepared. Try to avoid check up point because your lorry is not legal. Unfortunately they can park you and only tow track can take you away

Used to be able to go to stop 24 but changed it to sevington.have to go there to do your carnet…declaration of goods leaving the uk.

Watchout if you have to import/export agricoltural vehicles from a country to another, last week me and my da d had to transport a muck spreader from Switzerland to Italy, it was soo much paperwork that the buyer renounced to buy it, i don't know about wngland but always check👍

In my work I’ve to enter t1 forms before offloading even that is a pain in the arse wait 20 minutes and see if customs lets you offload it or not it’s just an unnecessary process in my opinion

Tim I feel so bad when you come back off the boat go to roland barton they will sort you out there are based where daz tran International is you know who you said you were gonna do that long load with are you gonna do that when you go to rbt they are a mechanical people they don't fall in pits with water you go up to 1 of them and ask for Kenny and Kenny will sort you out or some one else if you go to rbt at lypme industrial estate go through the barriers and turn left and follow it all the way round and you will see rbts fleet g13rbt is my dad's which is being piped up its got a tt sticker in the window if you ask 1of them to take you out in it they are normally realy busy but if you bring food they'll be happy please read this out to Sean lombardo on camera and again I feel bad they should've at least given you blue pice of paper see you soon and if you can give them a little goody bag they will 100000% appreciate that if you ask Kenny say when will g13 have straight pipe with smoke he with laugh as is is getting straight pipe soon please read this out to Sean lombardo on camera
