it’s not called a volvo t cab, it’s the NH16. look up Volvo NH12 and you’ll see that they used to make european conventional cabs (like the american Volvo VNL) with the globetrotter cab

Bit more of an exciting day than I had! - a 65 plate R450 with 700 odd thousand on the clock, but still seems to run as well as the day it was made, and a curtain side trailer with pallets of doors and frames for a building site in the middle of wembley, bugger it was tight! Not a scratch to add to her, though!
Could not imagine having to spend a day traveling with Tim. Would drive me mad.

I’ve always loved these T-Cabs, didn’t know what they were called, I’ve always loved trucks since my childhood, what is the purpose of the Tcabs as opposed to the normal flat faced ones 😅, this is all new to me, thank you in advance. I went to America once and there vehicles, wow wow wow…. Like a proper camper can in the back also ❤
They're in fact called "bonneted" or "hooded" trucks". In America they're usually called "conventional". T stands for "Torpedo" and it has officially been used only by Scania. Scania made their last own T-cab in 2005.
"Flat face" is called "Cab over engine" or coe.
cab overs are probably more economical (short truck, more space for trailer) , so they took over the market. Americans don't have so many rules about truck lengths so they kept with the traditional ones
Still not got the hang of how the auto handbrake works 😂 Press the A button underneath it, A for auto it will then be the last time you will ever touch the handbrake switch. If you open the door, turn it off or take your seatbelt off the handbrake comes on as well as every time you come to a standstill. I’m surprised the Scania man didn’t explain how it works.
In my humble oppinion i think that Tim deserves a T-Cab.

I have to say, eventually Tim is going to have to do serious trucking work, nothing wrong having fun driving and delivering brand new trucks to the new owners, but reality is, he needs to get his own trucking business up and running because i havent seen much of him delivering real loads around UK or Europe for that matter... i would like to see him doing more videos of long and short hauls .... Go for it tim 👍
With 220k subscribers, you'll find he will be making a decent living from these videos alone...

Trucket Tim. From what i heard those 4 trucks made T-cabs: Scania, Volvo(they even got in the USA T-cabs), DAF And Iveco. The DAF one is called DAF XT and Iveco Strator.
@@editimisescu7945 there is a big difference between the US volvo's and the T-cabs in europe tho. In the US Volvo makes the trucks 100%. In europe Volvo doesnt make a T-cab at all. Also its a completely different noose and the cab itself is a lot different. A US Volvo isnt even allowed to drive in europe because its not getting through our crashtests. A US Volvo and a T-cab are 2 completely different things and not comparable.
Also, from the DAF were only 2 T-cabs made. The Iveco are made by Iveco itself and not a third party like Vlastuin

Not going to lie this is by far one of my favourite videos and knowing crouch I not far from me only up a few roads and I've got my car now so yeah definitely looking out for this one. Tho hope it's at Donnington truck show I've got a feeling if it's not on a job it will be. And I also know some crouch drivers use the air horns too if you gesture nicely. Can't wait to hopefully see this towing a trailer with something on it.

Vlaustin also builds XL and XXL cabs. Mostly on Scania S or R. but it would look so cool with w XXL cab on a Scania T.

I gotta say i always hated the t-cab, but i'm slowly coming around on it. Pretty special.
I used to live in Holland sometimes back before moving to Toronto,and let me tell you that Nederland's is a very clean beautiful country with canals allover,windvanes all over nice tiny country,UK needs to catch-up especially the cleaness.
Holland is crap. Everyone carrying weapons, prices of everything are atleast double what they are in other countries, police does nothing except speeding tickets and breathelizer tests, we pay ridicoulous taxes and get nothing in return, government only cares about making money, democracy is a lie over here etc.

Hi Tim I have the privilege to drive my 770s and every day is absolutely perfect . I drive from North Scotland to different countries in Europe I have had my 770s for just over a year and I have promised my self that my next will be a brand new 770s or bigger from this conversion company what an outstanding Finnish on these trucks who knows I may be ordering my long nose when you come to order yours nice factory where dreams are made
