Hello Tim . Friend of mine rather stop his activity and sold his truck few month before hus legal age of retirement than paying the fines after delivering London area ...f*** them ! This is not fines, that ' s nothing else that racket ! ... Greatings from Brittany.

On a serious note, even minor infractions of the law could well pass over the desk of your local Traffic Commissioner, especially if racked up in quick succession Please be careful Tim, It would be awful to see all your hard work and enthusiasm undone 🤙
Sorry, but London LEZ and the HGV safety scheme (or racket, which is what it is), are well known, and you should have known about it. It's your own choice to drive a non-compliant truck, so either you charge the client extra to get it done, or you don't go inside the M25.
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, said: “The world’s first Ultra Low Emission Zone is an essential measure to help improve air quality in our city, protect the health of Londoners,
Shaun is going to be the happiest man ever when he does the next 6 weekly service with you, anyway great video Tim, happy easter and enjoy your weekend as always!!
There will hopefully be one day when haulers say FU to London, and will only deliver to the edge of the M25. Let the Khanilondonstan fend for themselves. It's the worst place to drive taking hours to do a few miles, and then fined ridiculous amounts to enter. I really don't understand why companies still pamper to London. At the end of the day, let them be self sufficient, if not, collect your own goods.
Scottish scenery is magnificent. So is England's but we're just too full of people, which sours it. I must have a drive up to Scotland one day. Thanks for the video, mate!
Why am I watching trucking videos on a Sunday afternoon when I'm back at work tomorrow and have to fix the wretched things. Second fine was for lack of DVS (Direct Vision Standard) permit, not FORS, similar but different things, oh and its supposed to be changing again in October, but may be delayed. I drove into London the other weekend in my really dirty VW diesel, not only did I have to pay ULEZ charge, but I had to pay more to park because of the emissions rating of my car, funny thing is I don't leave it running when parked!!!
Tim ULEZ is a total Rip Off & also the Camera Fitted to the truck is also just a Money Grabbing scam & the Safety Certificate permit I did not know about but do now, best is to refuse to deliver or collect inside the M25 as it could cost you the whole Trips Takings. That was a great 2 part video Top Marks, look forward to the next one👍
Well Tim a great video, but I do think as much as I don't agree with the charges and fines you should be setting an example to the viewers by doing things right. You have a great following of younger viewers who may one day become truckers themselves. Keep up the good work 👏
Evening TT, I saw your truck about 7 ish this evening leaving March on the A141, truck looked great!! It’s taken me a while to spot you, I must go to March more often, Safe travels TT
Wait do you guys have to pay for staying at a service centre in Australia we just pull up get fuel and food ( paying obviously ) and park for free for however long and some places even give us vouchers if you spend a certain amount of fuel
I've never seen any truck stops in the US Midwest where truckers have to pay for overnight parking. Although there are truck stops that charge for overnight parking ($15 to $25 US) in other parts of the US, during my time trucking in the US Midwest, I've never come across any that required payment for parking overnight.
Just were you seen the truck with the smiley face there was a garage on your left called Lindsay's. That was owned by Jackie Stewart the ex F1 drivers family many years ago. It's in a we village called Milton just outside Dumbarton
Yet the 2 different bus routes that take their driver breaks outside my block every 30 mins inside the ULEZ are ok to constantly rev their diesel engines to build up air pressure! Oh and the rich Lambo owners are still ok to blast up and down the street getting 8mpg, while I get to stand at the bus stop because my 500cc motorbike wasn't "compliant"..... And then they all wonder why businesses are moving out of London or going under completely!
Honestly, the way you come across when you get fines, it is as if you don’t give a toss. Considering you are a business owner, I would’ve thought you would be doing everything in your power to avoid being fined.
Not only it look's odd with that yellow trailer it's funny with that sign at the back well even things that is small size need's to be strap 14:23 😂😂😂😂
How are these fines legal these types of fines are killing small businesses, I had a recovery truck I lost 10k worth of work by the time I added ulez they spewed the job never was that much money in greater London anyway start of the end really after that .I had one job in and got fined they wanted 5k for not paying the 200 quid a day it use to be
Meanwhile the London city airport reeks of jet fuel that is tax exempt and goes thru engines with no cleaning devices, but I guess fuel taxes would put a stop to leisure travelling so we all look the other way..
I just realised you use Google Maps for nav? I use a Garmin Truck gps here in the US cause of low clearances and weight limits, how do you get around that using Gmaps?
Majority of our old trucks get sent abroad and used abroad when they are no longer economical enough for the uk, countries dropping bombs on one another, politicians flying here there and everywhere for pointless meetings. But yet the working man must pay tax on top of tax and fine after fine for working and helping. rant aside, great videos Tim. :D
Aaaaaaaa Scotland my sister lives somewhere in Scotland but today she came to go on holiday for 5 days and we don’t have to hear banging for a week because they are redoing the hous next-store to my house
so when youre truck isn't clean enough you pay 100 pounds then its clean ? but dont pay and its an 500 pond penalty . transport is an milk cow its crazy. what about cruise ships and planes and oldtimer cars ?
