I’ll never understand the hate towards this bloke. I’ve been watching his TH-cam videos from day one having discovered him on TikTok. He’s absolutely brilliant at what he does and his videos are always entertaining and full of laughs. The characters that feature in his videos including his family are a massive part of his success and he humbly admits that which is great to see. All of his videos and the people in them are a joy to watch and I wish him every success for the future. This podcast was also brilliantly put together and has really brought out the man behind Trucker Tim. Well done to all involved 👍🏻
Love or hate him he is a massive positive influence on the industry. personaly i love tim and his content it is a little silly at times but that keeps the younger generation watching. Massive respect to him and the lovely Hellen
Even from the start you could tell he was going to go far. He was a natural in front of the camera from day one. Always entertaining and fulling engaging. No off moments. He also had a knack of surrounding himself and befriending interesting people. All the companies that have help him are full of charismatic interesting people.
As a former US truck driver who is now unable to drive due to health issues, I enjoy watching Tim's videos to get a glimpse of how trucking is done in the UK and the EU when he travels outside of the UK. I would love to see him visit the US and collaborate with the American trucking TH-camr Bruce Willson. It would be really exciting to see Tim bring one of his trucks to the US for some trucking adventures, or alternatively, to see him attend the MATS (Mid-America Trucking Show) in the future.
Loved this interview. I will say, I thought Tim was cringey and ‘fake’ OTT when I first saw his Data shredders videos but, as time has gone on, you actually see him for what he is. He’s brilliant to watch, massive enthusiasm for what he does and he is one of the main reasons why I got my C+E and now a driver. Keep on, drive!!

Great video, I know he has a lot of haters, but he's simply living his dream and doing what makes him happy I know what would make a great video and conversation.... the real elephant in the room. Mental health within the HGV haulage industry with many drivers who are lonely, working under immense time constraints and pressure away from their loved ones and family. I know of a few truck drivers who have committed suicide because it all got too much

I used to not like Tim from watching a short of him opening a pakcage with an angle grinder ,but hes grown on me ,hes a nice bloke and makes great truck videos

He's having a ball and 90 percent of truckers would do exactly what he is doing if they could . Remember passing him once and thinking those tints were ripping it a bit. lol

I used to think Tim was a bit of a prick. However, after watching this podcast, my opinion has changed. I have learned that 'Trucker Tim' is just a persona. An internet character. And that is something a lot of people, myself included, seem to forget all too often. Not just with Tim, but with many other TH-camrs.
I worked for a garage and used to drive a truck to pick up new cars and NEVER knew as a driver of a truck (on a tacho') that I had to log all other work (driving customers cars and 'other work') I could have got out of so much work!
In the UK they need to learn students with fully loaded trucks. Obviously not just throw them in and hope for the best. Maybe start on very quiet roads. With hill starts etc. They need to maximise training as I feel there are too many that still struggle after they pass
@@jaycarlingjj123 in belgium they are loaded to 44 tonnes with cement blocks or ibc's full of water but they should learn with tanker aswell just so they know what it is to drive with fluids, im happy tbh that i learned in belgium if i hear how they do it their just bc we only learn to drive trucks that are fully loaded
@@geenprobleem_8607 I passed my test in the UK over 20 years ago and I learnt with a flatbed trailer with no weight. I do agree with you that they should have weight on. Thankfully though I've never had an issue in my driving career.
Trucker Tim is the Mr Bean of HGV you can tell its all an act amd doesn't take life seriously haters will hate, how you hate him os probably cos you cant be him, genuine guy keep it up hope you reach your dreams of a TCAB no 100 would be class 😉 keep it up
Tim is a likeable guy, and I'm pleased for his success. The only issue I have is that he has a lot of influence on younger people who aspire to become truck drivers, and while I appreciate the entertainment value, using the side pipe through quiet villages, covering innocent pedestrians in black smoke, the illegally tinted windows , blue beacons and so on is sending out the wrong message. The DVSA intervention was always going to happen and maybe there's a lesson in that, but I think Tim could (and maybe will) use his influence in a more positive way for aspiring drivers.
Essentially he made a video with geared up garage about rebuilding the infamous “horror truck” and people didn’t like that he was making revenue off of such a sensitive subject. He ended up having to take the video down. Geared up garage says they’re not trying to rebuild the klintra horror truck at all but just using the parts from it to build a completely new different one, so there was a miscommunication as he sees it. I’ve seen they’ve just had geared up garage on the pod so I’m sure he’ll clear it up then

On George car media he dose colabs with a traffic officer. The officer says undertaking is not ilgal hence i a jam or queueing Traffic we would brake the law we but we can undertake if it’s in our same driving or something( can’t find vid) so it means if in slow lane at 68 mph and car in next lane is doing 63mph and u over take it’s ok as ur not purposely overtaking and safer than slowing down
The middle lane I pass them on the right then move to lane 1 slow down then ease let them pass and repeat to show how it's done. They are clueless to what has happened

In belgium its different for tye exams for c and ce we do our exams with loaded trucks
They have changed that in the UK now. The truck is now loaded. I think its a minimum of 9 tonne.
