I still can’t get over how amazing Sumetal’s voice is and her singing skill/talent .
One of the best things about BABYMETAL is the beauty they possess in such a pure form. No crazy hair colors or outlandish hair styles. No strange piercings...Not even their ears by the look of things. No tattoos or anything like that. Of course in Japan tattoos usually mean you are in the Yakuza. I think the only song that had anywhere near explicit lyrics was Sis Anger. The only things that have ever been crazy is their costumes. Probably why they all seem so relatable and approachable.
Suzuka’s voice Is on another level In this song. In my opinion she Is the best female metal vocalist. Her vocal range Is amazing!
When i heard the Song for the first Time, i remembered Tarja Turunen when she was young

Momoko and Moa have been good friends for a long time. Apart from her being the best Avenger dancer, she also has a beautiful smile ❤ I think Momoko(-Metal) really Is underrated, with Riho(-Metal) generally being praised more as a potential third member. But Momoko Is awesome! she would get my vote.
I like Riho better. But neither one is "on par" with Su or Moa. Sure they dance as well. But thats all.

When Su sings at the end "in the end" (two times) i am about to cry. Her voice is so beautiful in general, but escpecially at this particular scene. I love it.

I think this is the first song I've heard Su sing in her head voice across multiple lines. It's incredibly beautiful and haunting. (Granted, I'm new to them and I'm probably forgetting another song where she sings like this. But I've watched most of their recent live performances). Su has one of the most impressive voices I've heard in Asian music.

I put off listening to this song for a long time because i was sure everything -- except the chorus -- would be prerecorded. Happy to be proven wrong.
It always amazes me how people underestimate professional singers. Someone plays a note for 10 seconds - the listeners are shocked (although 10 seconds is quite a bit for a professional. A lot is more than 20 seconds in one breath). Suzuka has a physiologically thin voice. It's easier for her to sing high than low. In this case, she sings high notes in falsetto. I assure you - many female vocalists will be able to hit these notes in falsetto.
Falsetto parts may (or may not) be pre-recorded because the falsetto singing technique is very different. And maybe they didn't take the risk. but nevertheless it was sung by Suzuka. Those parts where she sings in full voice seem to be live.
@@forthefoxgod7275 Thanks for the explanation... from how this sounds compared to the record, I think she's doing the 'thin' parts live as well. Suzuka seems to sing almost everything live, except when it's modulated or second/backing vocals. That was another reason why I expected the thin parts to be prerecorded as well.
Using the thin voice type (apparently falsetto) to such effect in a live show, without going off-key, sounds like a hard thing to do. Then again, you're right about her being a professional singer, so maybe I shouldn't question it.
I still suspect most of Moa's parts are prerecorded, by the way. Which would be understandable, since she's dancing at the same time.
EDIT: sorry, it was way past my bedtime when I replied. Thinking back on it, it sounds as if you thought that I was surprised about Suzuka's voice during the chorus? Since you mention "x seconds"...
