The Kami Band is the TIGHTEST, MOST SKILLED and EXTRAORDINARILY ROCKING group that is playing live in the world today and maybe has for several decades. The ladies are just the cherry on top. But do not believe for a second that BABYMETAL can exist without Su-Metal, Moa-Metal and (interchangeable). The band's incredible skill level relies on the exacting ladies' presentation each and everytime. Symbiosis is a wonderful phenomenon.

The American touring lineup of the Kami Band are actually really good in their own right. Clint's playing is notably different from BOH's and that's not a bad thing at all; I like the groove he brought to his soloing, and YES, that drummer is a beast. Suzuka has become such a commanding live singer and frontwoman, and this alone is proof positive of that fact.
The drummer is Anthony Barone and he is debatably one of the best drummers walking this Earth, currently. He was covering Behemoth in high school. He used to play for Shadow of Intent which is how I even ended up here… looking for more of his content.
there is really nothing that you can say about Su that can explain what she is...the best I can do is that she is a living work of art.

I love how at 1:32, the crowd goes wild after the first set of blast beats, but then they go even wilder when the melt-your-face fast beats came in and hit 'em like a freight train! Anthony Barone is a beastly drummer for sure.
the first time i ever heard a Gravity Blast was about 20 years ago by a dude named Marco Pitruzzella, Vornagar - Hyperion. To hear something like that in modern Metal is pretty insane to me. But i mean that by the fact that Babymetal is not an Extreme Metal band by any means. These dudes are fucking crazy lmao.
It is difficult to have a favorite Babymetal song but this one is as close as it gets!!

So I followed Anthony Barone (the drummer) here from Shadow of Intent and I was blown away not only by his skills, but by the raw vocal talent. Su-Metal’s voice at 5:06 sent chills down my spine…
That last part that Sumetal did..something about those chords, it just hits my heart at the right place. Maybe someone more musically inclined can explain to me why, it seems like a perfect mathematical formula to hit me in the feels.
@@AidilAfham One thing I'll say is that Koba-Metal and the writers give Su-Metal alot to work with in this song. The ending does have a timeless feel to it - a Koba trademark. They have Su hit those notes and put some reverb on her and it is just magical. Only Suzuka can pull this off though.

I Love Su-Metal's voice! Her voice can be calming and soo soothing, and the next minute, she can bellow out those long notes. She is, in my opinion, The Queen of Metal, in her Own Rite! ALL HAIL SU-METAL!!!!😎👽♐🔥 Yes, I Love Yui-Metal, Moa-Metal as well, they make the group even better.
Since Su-Metal is 23 yrs old going on 24 yrs old, she is becoming more beautiful as well.
yui metal aint in it since 2018
Yui-Metal left Babymetal in 2018 due to family commitments and health issues. Su-Metal still goes from vocal strength to strength and Moa-Metal continues to beguile us as the ultimate presenter.
I miss Yui-Metal. I hope she is at peace.

To me the Japanese kami band was the best but, Mikio the guitarist died in an accident falling off a scaffolding tower stargazing.
The drummer looks like he is fully intent on beating his way through an entire quiver if drumsticks in this set. Love it

@@DaunteDonloe Probably all of them by now - but only found them about 3 months ago :( For me it's just the combination of the lyrics/meaning and that great choreography. VERY hard to pick a favourite though admittedly - every time I watch one I get pretty much absorbed. I've only a few tracks I really struggle with - and not a huge fan of excessive American lyrics either.

After seeing Chris Kelly play in Ice Nine Kills I saw how good of a guitarist he was. I had absolutely no idea he played with Babymetal, this is awesome!
This is without a doubt my favorite song from babymetal. Su's vocals are just so angelic in this song and the musicians are amazing. I'm telling you the band behind them never gets enough credit
Momoko was such a perfect fit for Babymetal! I was lucky enough that when I saw the Metal Galaxy tour, Momoko was the Avenger du jour. Burned up the stage with her dancing ❤️
I'm a big Riho fan but Momoko was great too. I had Riho for KC and Chicago and I got way up in the front on her side and she was amazing. But then it was nice that I got to see both Riho and Momoko at The Forum show in LA. Momoko driven to tears during RoR was really cool. I was really sad to see Riho go and will be sad if Momoko is done now too. Although as of right now we don't even know if Babymetal has retired or is just taking a temporary hiatus....maybe Momoko will be back if they do tour again. I hope so.

Kudos to the sound man. He has EXCELLENT tones on all those instruments. I especially like his kick drums. Too many sound men put too much bottom in the kick(s). I prefer the lower drum notes to come from the floor toms. It has way more of a dynamic effect that way.
