Honestly I think Ace race is personally my favourite game, the fact that the maps flow so well and look great is great and I enjoy how there is a wide variety of movement but still with less of a focus on parkour. Plus its probably the most rewatchable game as every perspective is enjoyable and obviously different.

I’d put tgttos on like low A personally, really a big fan of either flexing or practicing terrain nav and bridging. If only there’s no pvp.
Although I do agree that for the event it’s probably best to keep the pvp for the randomness and punching does make a lot of good funny clips.
after nerfing rocket damage in rsr i think the damage change is great but only drawback is it nerfs elytara hopping
7:47 I watched my first PB with PB13 and Chalice Chase was when I really thought "Wow, PB has some really cool games." It was that and the puzzle one that i don't remember the name of that really made me think that.

Speedrun was just a terrible game in practice; it had no variety, no comeback potential, and the majority of its gameplay was just holding W (exhilarating!). Speedrun is a solid game for a single event - the second time a speedrun map is played, the game is objectively terrible. Making a new speedrun map every season isn't feasible, so it had to get scrapped. Easily the worst game we've had and I'm glad it's gone.
what about other racing games? how do they compare to speedrun and by what exactly they are better than it? /genq
@@DirtyDan16_ The main thing other race games have over speedrun is that they have a lot more variety. Rapid racers, since it's a race game, still has an overabundance of inherent issues but with the amount of different aspects of it, you still need skill snd have the ability to go crazy on a decent comeback. Speedrun is about 80%+ foot racing, which means if you already know the path and skips you're going to just be faster than other people, because the majority of it is just micro-movement. This is another criticism of the game, since a slight movement error results in over 5 lost placements.
I don't think it is possible whatsoever for any race game to be an A tier game or higher, as they just have too many inherent issues in an event format - that being said, Pandora's Box prides itself on being competitive so we try to balance games in a way that make sense competitively. Race games, when made fun (like rapid, despite having similar experience diff issues), are simple and easy to be enjoyed by anyone whether they play MC or not in more casual events.

Changes in my opinion: hole in the wall B, Chalice chase S, rapid racers imo the best race game high A, Ace race low A tridents suck, elytra race C just dull, parkour warrior A+, tgttos B, void bound C, speed run C.

Eh, I'd argue that PKW is almost never interesting to watch whether it was on MCCI or not. It wasn't interesting before it was added to MCCI and it still isn't interesting now. I think about the only interesting part is the very end, and that's only if you've got either a) someone who was struggling and is now working hard to get to the end in time, with everyone cheering them on, or b) someone who did really well and is now trying to beat the hardest part of the course. Everything before the end is boring as hell.

I personally disagree, it's interesting to see how good each MCC player is at larkour and as they play more events you can see them get better and better at it

I genuinely think atm BlockWars's Race is better than MCC"s Ace Race. Both games essentially utilize the same movement (i.e boost pads, speed pads, tridents, etc.), but BlockWars's tridents are so much more visually stimulating to watch, and also much more fun for the players to use (im assuming this based on multiple players' agreement of BW tridents > MCC tridents [ex: Purpled and Seapeekay BW 8]). This is probably due to BW's tridents having a stronger riptide enchantment than MCC's. Old MCC used to have stronger riptide tridents, but once the map Turtle Run (i think) was introduced, the tridents got a much slower riptide, which could also cause players to make more mistakes, and thus was not nearly as fun to watch or play
