- Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by the director of the charity Viva! Juliet Gellatley, to discuss the grotesque advert the vegan charity made and the message they were trying to convey.
The controversial pro-vegan advert - which has been banned following complaints about its gory nature - depicts Muller corner yogurts as 'Killer yogurt' and was viewed over 3 million times.
Piers is quick to point out the 'hypocrisy' of vegans calling people 'killers' for eating produce such as yogurt as common vegan substitutes such as avocados end up killing billions of bees in their growing process.

Yeah I get that animals eat other animals in the wild in horrific ways, I also can't stand watching nature documentaries for that reason, but at least they had a chance at life and got to live the way nature intended. Animals that are prey to other species evolved with all sorts of features and abilities to give them are fair chance at escaping predators, and if they get caught it's brutal but it's survival of the fittest and the way evolution works.
But the problem with humans is we don't evolve to suit our environment, we evolve our environment to suit us. No such evolutionary progress is to be had from the mass factory slaughter of animals. The animals we kill that were bred in captivity to be killed never stood a chance, and never got to experience life even for a short time. While some vegans do take it to the extreme I think it's totally normal for anyone to find the situation sad and wish it could be improved. I think the main issue at the core of it is just capitalism and overpopulation more than anything, as long as those continue to grow, cruelty in meat production will always be a symptom.

Last year I was invited to do some hunting. I shot an Impala and actually felt bad about it. 1 month later I went to the Kruger National park and one evening driving back to the camp we spotted a wild dog, with blood dripping from his mouth, super excited, like a dog that achieved something amazing. Upon driving closer he continued in his feasting on a freshly caught impala. The impala was still breathing, halve of his guts was hanging out, and the wild dog just continued to rip the buck apart without a care for it being still alive. Then I just realised, hunting is a lot less cruel, farming is a lot less cruel. On a side note, this is also why I'm a cat person, all the kills from big cats (Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards) I have witnessed (in my privileged live of growing up in Africa), the cats first kill before they eat, a lot less cruel.

I don’t even know what to think about this . These people have went completely crazy. I can’t even take them seriously.
The thing is both sides are wrong. You see, if there are animals being badly treated in farms, then the owners should be fined and forced to correct the situation, thats it, stoping eating yoghurt is just an idiotic argument. Also they mentioned global warming, well CHINA, India, and Asian countries represent 70% of CO2, why don’t these hypocrites go there and protest, Europe can’t do anything about that anymore! Piers is not using the right arguments, these people are easily contradicted.
On what basis do you think they’re crazy? Because the vegan diet is good for their health? Because it’s better for the environment? Or because it doesn’t exploit innocent animals?

Here's the thing that always annoys me - Vegans always say things like, "I saw how they killed the cattle and I thought it was unethical." But instead of advocating for ethical killing practices of animals, what they actually want is for people not to kill animals at all. And that is too far of a jump in logic. Just because some people kill animals cruelly, that doesn't mean we, the consumers, have to stop eating meat entirely.

The other day I had a run in with some vegan activists. Disgusting field vermin.
So just to spite them I went and bought a Wendy's Double Baconator and a 20pc Spicy Chicken Nuggets and came back just to eat it in front of them.
That was the most worth it thing I ever did.

Ummmm..... as a farm girl... as far as I know male calves ... "tollies" have their nuts taken off and are raised for beef ... unless good stock...then he gets to keep his nuts and go on to drag his little heart out for years. Dairy farms I'm aware of .... cows are not treated like crap .. if they were their milj production wouldn't be great for 1... I've not hot enough crayons
I grew up on a dairy farm and the cows grazed everyday when the weather was good. And in the winter they were sheltered beded and watered.
My father who was a dairy farmer since a young boy offen got emotional when some cows got ill/injured & had memorised 100s of names/numbers given to the cattle.
Not everyone can be painted with the same brush and most farmers like most people are kind and good natured.
So your father kept all the male cows around that didn't produce milk and just took the hit financially and let them live and graze on their entire life and let them die naturally of old age???...
Because you're going to need some strong evidence that your father was able to do that and keep his farm going successfully if you want anyone with at least half a functioning brain to believe that he was able to take that financial hit and stay up and running unless you are claiming he only cares about female cows...
Either way it's pretty much a %100 certainty that your story is missing some important elements that don't suit your narrative.. ;-)
