Great video. I recognize places I visited last January. Covid is crap, but I hope the situation gets better in Kerala, which I fell in love with. TamilNadu cities must learn from kochi as to how to paint bridges and keep the city clean and green. If you go to Coimbatore and look at the roads and flyovers, you are guaranteed to vomit. They painted them in atrocious colors. Plus they have no idea how to make roads like we see in kochi. Kochi looks really well maintained. And the urban design aesthetics are very very good.
The bridges & flyovers might be painted, but 90% of the metro pillars in Kochi are not painted. Only the pillars that pass through some major junctions are painted.
Yep. I have been telling these to my friends for years. Though infrastructure is good in TN when it comes to cleanliness TN comes last in all of southern states (Swach Bharat Ranking also proves that). Another, disgusting thing is in all over TN near bus station you can see people urinating. This will create a very bad image especially from people who come as a tourist. Urban designing is very poor even in chennai with the exception of some areas they never give importance to pedestrian paths and most important thing I have noticed in TN even the common people of TN don’t have any patience to stop their vehicles at signals. This will never happen in Kerala. Hope people of TN and the govt. of TN will give importance to cleanliness. Cleanliness is next to godliness
South India is totally different from rest of India It's so developed educated polite friendly hospitable people here if i could choose an area of my next India expedition i would choose south India like Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu wish i visit those places in no time Insha Allah.
I visited Cochin in 2005....l was in Edapalli for 10 days.Kerala is very beautiful.Food is also nice and tasty in hotels here.I watched India vs Pakistan one day cricket match in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here.Very nice experience. Kerala is very nice and amazing. Love from Karnataka.

People in Tamilnadu need to learn from Kerala.(No disrespect). Forget about Chennai or Coimbatore, even small towns in Tamilnadu can't maintain cleanliness. There are posters everywhere ( mostly political) . There is litter on all roads except for the posh areas. There are many positive aspect in TN but on the matter of cleanliness and civic sense , we are far behind Kerala.

Kerala is only state which will equally develop all the cities like a metropolitan . Not like other states where only one city is metropolitan and others are underdeveloped. This is happening in Maharashtra. The western part covering Mumbai Pune Nashik are well developed as compared to east where Nagpur and Amaravati is located.

State government gave the most development and opportunity to kochi but after all this kochi did not develop like other cities because kochi has no potential to grow. Kochi welcomes all migrant workers. You are also indians and you will get same treatment unlike Mumbai, chennai, Bangalore etc where people treat outsiders unequally. You just have to keep kochi clean
people has to learn lane driving for that. Driving discipline is lacking on Indian roads including kerala. Government is partially responsible too for not developing well laned roads

State government gave the most development and opportunity to kochi but after all this kochi did not develop like other cities because kochi has no potential to grow. Trivandrum without much help from the government managed to develop this much, thanks to central government for including trivandrum in smart city mission atleast that's happening in trivandrum😑

people has to learn lane driving for that. Driving discipline is lacking on Indian roads including kerala. Government is partially responsible too for not developing well laned roads
@@JMian I'm not from India, I can't judge, but driving in lanes, well, that's horrible, but I really have to praise the use of helmets on motorcycles in Kerala, it's a huge change for the better in a few months.
