    I really like the frame around it, in most of these bookcase nooks they fail to make it integrate flawlessly into the bookshelf--so you might as well just frame it so it looks INTENTIONAL.

    What a wonderful idea! And even greater execution. 😄 And not unlike the books surrounding the nook it draws you in and fires up the imagination... Thanks for sharing!

    Oh wow, thank you for an amazing idea on what to use my oop praetorian guards for. Feel sad they just languishing in the loft, forgotten about. Might need to buy new paints, not sure if it survived 15 years in the loft.

    This is awesome. I'd love to do a space marine ship, with space marines fighting off intruders. Just thinking of how I can make gunflare effects (maybe a little light. hidden up from behind the model?)

    in the torn down wall segment, you could print out a picture of rubble with som skies, maybe a demolished interior structure or something simmiliar, to make it have even more depth.
    Really cool work thou

    Just what I've been looking for. Did you use the Regnarion Residence 28mm city building to create this book nook? I'm expecting a delivery on that particular modular for my nook book. Can you make a video on how you attached the lighting and where you purchased the mirror? This was an excellent video. Thank you!

    This is so... I don't have the exact adjective to describe. I love these. Anybody has any idea where I can get my hands on one of these book nooks. I can not make it myself.

      Some sell their creations on Etsy! :)

    • @thoughtengine

      @@Coldsnap500 Those typically go for hundreds of dollars though. If you cannot make one, no-one has a true budget solution for you; one maker decided to make kits available just for the empty box in which to build one, for 45USD plus post, and another 8USD for the mirror bundled in.

    With the rise in popularity of book nooks an interprising artist could make money selling them.

    Awesome work. Where to find the mirror?

    • @Coldsnap500
      @Coldsnap500  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      A glazier can cut one for you, if you go with clean cut edges they are really cheap (but VERY sharp).

    • @Coldsnap500
      @Coldsnap500  4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      The buildings are from two different plastic wargaming terrain kits by Games Workshop (they are modular so only used about 1/3 of each kit). You can find these in many tabletop gaming stores. :)

    Good video and really awesome build but I don't know if it's me or not but who else would rather them talk and explain what they are doing than listen to music .I know every one is different and likes different things and it's just my opinion not trying to hate at all.
