For future uses, design one side wall to be able to swing away with a piano hinge and lock the front in place with some neodymium magnets. Can be hidden behind a front plate. Saves you that whole place constraint hassle you mentioned at the start and you'll be able to make repairs in the future or dust the interior.
I love the idea of 3D printing your own tools. I liked that you kept your false start in the video. I think that is all a part of creating. You have to make mistakes to learn. And BTW, thank you so much for lowering the volume on the music. I can not tell you how much that is appreciated. I really liked this build, the lighting alone was fantastic. I liked the flickering. When I was quite young I got to see the Tutankhamun traveling exhibit. One of my treasured childhood memories.
Yeah it's really opened my eyes to what a 3d printer can do. Not just printing minis but also tools etc. Really appreciate the feedback and thank you for taking the time to watch.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Even though I have been doing this for a little while - pretty much every project involves something new to figure out.
Ooh, very cool. I love Egypt, such a striking aesthetic. and the LEDs really elevate it. since you asked for ideas, maybe a little Retro Futurism/Atompunk/Raypunk scene or terrain piece could be cool. Or, in a vaguely similar vein, something inspired by Burmese temples (or Dragon Ball, if it would please the Algorithm more...)
Haha I know. I saw your video a couple days ago. From one builder to another - I tip my hat. I have never built a book nook before, so when I saw yours I had to smile. Great job!!
@creativecuts7803 Thanks, dude! I really appreciate it. Like you say, it's a bit of an odd feeling to build something in puzzle pieces 😅 but it was a lot of fun
Hahaha its as if you have read my mind. Part of the slight break in videos was work related and also a major remodel of my studio. All takes time but will be worth it in the end
As far as I was aware, most of the theories on how they were built use shreds of evidence to form rough theories at best. Just this week I read an article on how using new lidar scans and satellite data they how potentially discovered a previously unknown stretches of the nile leading to the giza plateau. I am far from an expert on Eygpt, just a curious mind with a thirst for knowledge.

Love that you let us see the “screw” up parts! Great and amazing work 😍
Gotta keep it real right? Haha
Amazing work ❤😊 thank you for sharing
Nice! Thanks for sharing your missteps as well. If I am not making errors, I am not trying new techniques and ideas. 👍

Great ideas. I have been playing around with a cyberpunk/dystopia scene in my head. Defo on the list of future builds
Ancient Egypt is one of my favorite time periods too and this turned out amazingly! Absolutely love it!
Thank you so much. Really appreciate your kind words 👍 🙏
Wow! This turned out beautifully. Great job 👏 I've recently just joined the Book Nook Club 😅

I’m loving that you’re releasing new vids more often lately
My love for the hobby never fades, just sometimes work gets in the way.

I’d love to see an update on the shed/workshop/studio. See what you’ve come up with in there since the December 2022 video.

Thank you! Cheers!
mic is a bit close/cheap but this is a great channel.
Appreciate the feedback. Mic was a little close as I had a naughty cold. Will bear it in mind for the future
They don't struggle to explain, they've even found instructions on how they built them. Awesome craft, but skip the misinformation

Please explain to those of us that don't buy into the lots of people and hand tools theory how these amazing structures were built
