I'm lost for words right now. This video just rolled on after I was watching one of your more recent reviews. I thought the first few letters of number plate looked familiar and then I realised that this is the same exact Raptor in my garage that I purchased from VansWest, what a spin out! Keep up the great work man.

WOW congrats on getting this to review so soon dude! I've not watched the video yet but just want to say I drove one yesterday from John Hughes Ford and it's awesome!!! If I got one, I would only have to mod the anti roll bars, brakes and probs a tune. The rest of the car is AMAZING! Especially the shocks

Great review Johnny !!...this Raptor sounds like a Buick V6 3.8. I love the 1O speed auto and how short each gear is and keeps it up in the power/torque band. 💯

Is it true that the motor & transmission are fixed to each other in the new Ranger Raptor? So if the motor explodes you would need to replace the motor and transmission at the same time? I think i read that on a forum somewhere. If that's the case, this truck is a no go for me
I haven't heard this mentioned anywhere. The engine and transmission the ranger raptor have is the same as in the Explorer ST and Bronco Raptor. Those are not fixed to each other. It's a 3.0 Ecoboost with the 10 speed transmission that is in mustangs, explorers, Rangers, F-150s, expeditions, and navigator.
Love the Raptor but I rather the Wildtrack for towing purposes.
I would not park this at the shopping centre lol. Dam cars getting bigger while car spaces are getting smaller.

Great review! The Ranger Raptor launches in America this fall. I have my name on my local dealers list to purchase one when they start shipping. The suspension, size and electronic functions are perfect. They will start at $60k US dollars according to rumors. A base F150 Raptor starts at $75k in America for reference.
There is one at our local Ford dealership here in Dunedin, New Zealand. They're asking $98,000NZD.

Finally saw this in person. it was def sick. sounds awesome and boy it looked quick! the only thing that disappointed me was no struts on the bonnet, and yeah engine bay looked terrible. but the rest is awesome

Nice review. Great vehicle. Just a couple comments. 1) If I understand correctly, you can't use any of the aux switches you want, they are actually pre-routed to areas of the vehicle with different capacities (maybe I am wrong, but saw video that indicated that). 2) If you want the fastest 0-100 with a turbo, you can't just step on gas. You must hold brake and pre-rev engine/turbos. Gives at least a half-second.
FYI: In the USA here and on waiting list. Looks like June/July production date and August is earliest delivery date, but it technically will be 2024 version (hoping for something extra from 2023 version, but would be happy anyway).

Considering a vf clubsport was like 80k i think its overpriced to be honest but it is a fucken sick ute to be honest should have a manual option too though

The torque curve isn't right! They want the low down torque for a ranger... It's not a high revving high speed road car. I'm actually convinced this is the correct choice especially if you are willing to sacrifice turbo life and tune it. You'd have same issues with bigger turbo

Rangers a peices of shhh known for unreliability i work on them just about every day and the stuff the owners say about them is hilarious... gimmy a dmax anyday... as always its a good reveiw though ross thanks..
