I've done some sick shit on a blaster making dudes on 450's look stupid. Huge step up jumps all types of stuff. I own other bikes but I allways like to ride the blaster it's just simple fun

Had a yellow 97 with CT 240 big bore Awsome machine so fun to ride. I got an 04 that I'm building now with CT 240 and yellow 97 plastic I found on eBay.

When I was a teen I had a 400EX and my best friend had a Blaster.
I definitely like the old body style better than the new one and for me, it's not close.

@@dustinlee1791 no. They are the same engine. Nothing is different engine, carb, gearbox or gearing wise. Anyone who says the old shape or new shape is faster is wrong. It all comes down to how heavy or light the rider was. What condition the engine is in etc. Tyre choice etc. The new shape models are better in my mind because you don't have the crappy drum brakes up front. You have disks

I recently picked up a blaster, why delete the tors?
I had my blaster for years and it was frkn sick!! The only thing that i didnt like was mixing the gas other than that 10 out of 10
They are amazing man!! The gas mixing can get kind of old sometimes but so worth out for the 2 stroke power!!
Cant u just by 2 stroke gas or do u just mix 4 stroke gas with oil?
BlazeTrent buy gas at the station then buy a special 2 stroke oil meant to be mixed with gas at 32-1 typically
You can buy an auto mixing just attach in back and it’s bomb

Unplug your tors system that also can help how it runs and avoiding other problems . Just unplug the pig tail the runs off the top of the carb
Sounds good man. I'll see what I can do. Ive found out that it wasn't getting enough spark and it was because of my ignition coil.

Can you make a video on how you got it to run without holding the throttle I just got mine and it wont stay on idle without me holding the throttle
Try messing with the idle screw located under the seat. Twist it until it makes a difference and change it from there.
Is it just me or do newer blasters look aggressive as hell

That’s a nice spot you got there, I got my yard and a field there’s a couple ramps and there’s a sandmound in my yard that is stead like that and I ramp it and get all fours off the ground you have to shift I have an 03 blaster she looks like a piece of shit but it’s a sleeper haha and it’s hard to start but once it gets going it’s goin she just needs to warm up

Buff Duck Racing hey thanks man I just broke it the like last week I wasn’t doing nothing crazy the chain came off and busted the clutch casing it sucks but will get her fixed in time I’ve been riding all winter now it’s summer basically, now I’m down for the count right now haha

haha. It definitely can be difficult to wheelie on the blasters. I've found standup on the grab bar makes it easy. 🦆

It's one of my good friends land. They do some construction stuff also some farming and deal with rocks. They happened to also have some room for a track and trails!!

Yes. The engine stayed mostly the same throughout the years with little changes.
Engine has never changed throughout its 18 years of existence. Only front nose piece did

Don't take a blaster and deep water don't slam a blaster in water they have those little black caps for the breather tubes water can leak right through them trust me I have water in my crankcase and it took me for oil changes to get it all out

im a guy on my friends acc" i just bought a 04 yamaha blaster and the guy raced it so it has no key and the kill switch is to just let go of the throttle so when he fell off it would kill the bike "yes i just bought a race 2004 yamaha blaster for $900 instead of $1,500

It is not a full size. It’s about the size of a 250 four stroke quad. It is a manual clutch though. 🦆

I mean between the first version and the 2nd
The 2003-2006 blasters have hydraulic front disc brakes and they are easier to do wheelies on. On the other hand the 1986-2002 blaster has rear and front cabled drum brakes and it’s a little harder to do a wheelie on. But whichever one you choose is fine
