The 88-02 blaster rear brakes only lasted about 14 days before they broke and were never repaired, ever, on any blaster.

Blasters are the best quads!!! Although the 2nd gen has the hydraulic brakes, I like the look of the 1st gen better. Way more color combos.

I have an 04 Blaster that I got when I was 14. I keep getting an urge to upgrade to a Banshee or Raptor... but damn... Every time I watch you have so much fun on a blaster, I just want to ride my blaster all day, son! Lol

Man they are fun, I’ve subscribed and follow your content. Share your vids with my son too. We got a few quads over this last year to hang out with my kids as I work a lot and I felt they needed some dad time. We picked up a couple new cheap 125cc Tao Tao to have them try and get the hang of it, and my 13 year old was hooked my 9 year old not as much. We ended up getting an 06 trx250 ex and a 02 blaster with a big bore kit. We ride almost any chance we get but have to travel over an hour and a half to get to the trails. Our neighbors put up with us cleaning the quads and adjusting the carb around the back yard but we are inner city so can’t have too much fun. Keep up the good content!

Hi, Im Having some Problems With my 2005 Blaster. In neutral revs strong but when im running and try to go faster it’s dont have enough power And at full throttle is the same no power at all Any Suggestions?
I have foam air filter no lid stock fatty DG silencer … i try 230 240 260 270 main jet at 270 main jet runs a little better but still have same problem

i had a 94 blaster that had no breaks and it was dangerous as hell it would do powerwheelies in every gear. no breaks and all the engine braking was the end of it though but i had fun with it i only payed 300 bucks for it and put a clutch in it and cleaned the carb and rode it for 6 months fairly often till it died worth it to me lol

I like the old style blaster even 2ith the crappy braking system , my dad had one when I was a kid I never drove it but its why I'm obsessed with blaster and I can only hope to be able to have one of my own some day but until the its time machine blaster content for me.

I have a year 2000 blaster and it doesn’t run at its full potential like it should I’m thinking maybe carb issue cause it goes in every gear just like not to powerful
Run a compression check on it.
A pro for the older drum-brake blasters is you can turn the front rims around and widen the track width. I thought ya'll were OG! lol
The only difference is the hydraulic brakes, new plastic, and the integrated headlight. 17hp from the factory, but for less than $1,500 you can make them SCREAM with over 30hp. Another thing, the 03-06 front brakes are a direct swap to the older blasters, and the rear brakes can swap but you have to find a way to mount the master cylinder. Alba front arms and banshee rear axle bolt right in and widen it enough to stop that tipping when you turn, and a +2 swing arm with all that will bring it to the stance of a 400EX. 400EX or trx450R rear shock bolts on, KEn O’Conner Racing makes a bushing kit to to mount the upper part of the shock. That shock with a set of Elka Legacy shocks up front and you’ll have a similar setup to what I’m building for my daughter to race.

@@TimeMachinesATVs the weirdest thing in have ever see was with my blaster had no spark give it throttle it had spark. I have never seen anything do that. Ended up just twisting the 2 wires comming off the tors together haven't had issue out of it since.
On the older baster the front wheels were off of a Yamaha raptor 250
So jealous of Parker. He reminds me of my son. He learning to wheelie from a goat 🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽💪🏽✊🏽✊🏽

Fun fact: the Yamaha blaster shares the same bottom end as the dt 200 which is liquid cooled so that means you can convert the blaster to liquid cooling

I like the kiddos blaster better cause it has the upgraded parts on her like the brake system. The color is kewl wit da red nd black but I'm a huge fan of their blue. My daughter's blaster goes a little better, I just did port n polish and took 20 thousands off the head and used a higher compression piston it's at the limits of high octane pump gas. Plus went with a 34mm carb. Plus used a breathable screen air box lid and free flowing exhaust. It will eat a Polaris scrambler 400cc 2-stroke on take off and top end. I also went a tooth taller up front. 😉 I should have her do a video to show you guys on GPS her blaster tops out at over 70mph. It has a yz250 power cage reeds in it as well. It's not stock. Lol

Hey Jarrod I have the blaster here I’ve done the whole rebuild and changed all the seals it’s still smokes like a bastard and I’m getting fuel heavy into the oil it has oil pump delete so it’s mixed direct and idea what’s might be going on
