Yeah, I was getting legit annoyed by Rob's trying to get Matt to circumvent the whole purpose for building that garage. I think from what Matt has said about people peeping the garage and him selling spaces almost out of nowhere, I don't think he will have any issues breaking even at the very least, if not making money.
That's just Rob, he wants his friend to succeed😅
Yeah that came off real good on Matt but real bad on Rob, at least Matt seems to understand the value of honoring a contract.

@@AndrewFree it isnt necessary the breaking in itself. Most of the classic car theft like any business is targeted to sell or to order rather than acquiring it and then finding a way to get their money on a car they know nothing about. Having an off site garage like this where the car may be at some of the time and you just have a vanilla car at your house most of the time means as long as Matt isnt posting photos of your car sitting on the ground floor tonight it is a lucky dip and the only view in to this place is of the car on the rack outside the studio window as a conversation piece then all the better

I saw the story on that Jeep in a box. The number of unassembled Jeeps that were just dumped overboard while US ships were coming back to the States was absolutely criminal.

I love the sorted or not idea!!! I have a thought last week on why you stopped doing as many modified cars. But thinking about it there was definitely some sketchy moments in some of those people's cars.. makes sense you wouldn't start sticking to new vehicles

I've noticed if they have a repeat guest Apple podcasts only shows their original show as an option to listen
Shane Martin Yeah something weird happens where the podcast goes to the top of my list and is marked as a new podcast is available yet there’s no new podcast. Then the podcast will only be actually live when the next guest is uploaded. It’s weird and only seems to happen with The Smoking Tire.
That’s it uploaded now with the Shout Engine guy podcast.

This is not uncommon.
Think about the guys that pay for a country club membership and don't even play golf. $200/month with limited spots probably seems like a good deal to a lot of people, especially in that market area.
Well, $200 a month for access to the building (during normal hours), Cigar Lounge, exclusive events by high end brands, discount on car storage(possibly), etc. It pretty feasible in LA, some people pay that much a month on a gym they visit for an hour once a week ahahaha

@@fraserwright9482 Not really. He has 24 hour security, camera everywhere, cars keys are most likely locked up and the lifts are probably locked after hours. It would be extremely difficult to rob the place successfully. The existence of a "car collection" location already implies pretty valuable stuff is most likely stored there. Matt himself has already shown a layout of the place lmfao.
This guy will be in prison for fraud at some point. No doubt in my mind.
