This is an amazing video. I have this watch and apparently I wasn't using it to it's full potential. I wish this video was around when I first got the watch and had to set everything (I got it second hand without the instructions). I had to watch a video of a guy explain everything in Thai with bad subtitles.

So the distance unit in default for all modules that have that function is Miles not kilometers?

No!! The watch doesn't care what unit you use, it tells you the speed in X per hour, whether the X is mile, kilometer, meter or even centimeter, the watch doesn't care nor does it know!! You are the one inputting the number, and what that number is, will determine the speed in X per hour.
If you have a distance between let's say Chicago and new York.
Let's say for the sake of the argument the distance is 500 miles (I have no idea how much it actually is) and you input 500 in the watch, once you finish your journey and stop the stopwatch the speed displayed will be in miles per hour. If you want your speed in kilometers per hour, you have to input that distance (number) in kilometers, before you start the journey! 500 miles is about 800km so instead of 500 you would input 800. The watch doesn't care if will just calculate the speed based on numbers 500 or 800 as the distance, and it is up to you to remember what unit you were using when you were inputting the number
