Got mine this month and very well made, I changed the spring tension to the higher mode and it feels much better...I also got the Gladiator joysticks NXT EVO--thanks for sharing
Thank you for the review of the Mk V peddles. I have the Mk IV version for about a year now and love them. I totally get what you are saying about the addiction and wanting to get the latest versions of these peddles. Fortunately for me my son plays Star Citizen and I will pass my Mk IV peddles to him once I pick up the new one.
@@David-id2ks I have these pedals and curse myself that I like them so much. I put a large curve in them to balance out the short throw and they are superb for ground attacks. But no toe brakes sucks! If you fly DCS you just cant turn some older planes as they rely on differential braking to turn.
I bought the vkb mk-v rudder pedals because they were the least expensive non-plastic option, and have a small physical footprint. Yeah, I'd like toe brakes, but I don't need them at my current level of sim immersion. I've never built a gaming rig, so I had to swallow hard buying quality HOTAS, rudder, and GPU just to play a "game". Anyway, my limitation is not the gear any more, it's putting in the practice hours.
I have the MK V rudder with a Gunfighter IV right hand premium (omni) and Glatdiator NXT EVO (omni) lefthand and consider this the ultimage setup for me. Even compared to having 2 gunfighters together or a virpil. I mostly use mine for Star Citizen though and don't require pedal brakes. MKV is built to a last and is ultra sensitive for tight flying. Havnn't experienced any other rudder pedals with this quality of construction.
Hi thanks for the video. May i ask: being rudder pedals with no toe-brakes means i cant use them to apply brakes on the landing gear when i have landed? If thats true, then, which peddals would allow me to do so, that can be used for MSFS and DCS and are compattible with my VKB Gladiator Joystick? Sorry if its a dumb question but im new into all this. Thank you.
You can always use another button or axis for brakes but for a higher end option with toe brakes I would either go for the virpil ace interceptor pedals or the new winwing pedals
@@Sniper_Man_Clips Those are the best options for "cheap", you could look at the Logitech rudder pedals but Logitech have issues with quality control and build quality
Got mine about a month ago. They are great.
I don't even care about the lack of toe brake. I have a dozen other HOTAS buttons for that.
Same here! Glad you liked them too. You have the mk5 or Mk4?

Is there any creaking/looseness on the right pedal? Some people have mentioned this problem and im a little worried @@cuttheloop

I agree. The higher spring tension was a must for me personally.

VKB really should do Rudder pedals with Toe Breaks .
Toe brakes are only used when taxiing aircraft on the runway. They literally do nothing in flight.

I ordered this due to it is compact and can put in to the floor next to my sim racing pedal.
still really love these ones!

I have the Ml V peddles to be truly honest I havent got to try them yet but I am confident that they are worth the $

Hi, to which movement do you use the pedals in SC? Roll, yaw or strafe?

What is the width of these please? Thanks for the review.
Yeah, i would like to know that too to see if they'll fit on my wooden DIY rig/cockpit.
Strange that you can't find the dimensions on the VKB website.
i just got these today... may try the dampener mode if i can find a good guide/parts...

Virpil Ace3 here, yeah not sure I’d swap them for the VKB anytime soon 😂
Oh these looks very sexy aswell!!
Which rudder pedals do you have?
Thrustmaster TFRP. A good budget option. Your channel is growing so fast atm! Congrats!

@@Sniper_Man_Clips Cannot recommend anymore, the spring broke after only a year of use. Turtle Beach rudder pedals and these seem good options now

So what do you do for toe breaks?
got mine just now.
Hi would you recommend them since you got them

The movement is not natural, looks more like braking action by pressing the pedals. I prefer MFG Crosswind with double action, ruddering and braking.
I mean sure, but I am not a millionaire.
The rotating movement is common in sailplanes and helicopters. It's not really anymore unnatural than any other type of movement
