If you rely on social media to give you a view on all of society then you’ve lost. Don’t leave the US because people on the internet are dumb, leave social media, and look around. I stopped using Instagram and Snapchat (I keep Facebook for marketplace, and TH-cam for entertainment) and life is so much better. Social media shows only the bad, but when you stop using it and take a look around, you realize that we aren’t as bad as social media likes to portray. Sure, if you live in a place like LA then you’re pretty much living in a societal nightmare, but go anywhere else in the US, and you’ll find those people that social media doesn’t show. The kind, the middle grounded, the good. Try it out.

This doesn't happen exclusively in the US. This actually happens everywhere. The only difference is that in the US, many people have got their entitlement so bad they have lost their sense of shame, and they aren't affraid of people recording them and posting them online and then getting blasted by people calling them out. Unfortunately, some of these people do have had to pay consequences for their actions going viral, from losing their jobs to divorces and even criminal charges. Again, this can happen anywhere, first or third world.

Talking to people who legally immigrated to the US also puts things into perspective. Asking why they came here is usually a fun question. Usually more opportunities is the response. None of them want to move back home for a variety of reasons. Immigrants are probably some of the most patriotic people you'll run across.

I would completely agree with you until about... this year. Now, when I talk to many (new) immigrants they desire to return home due to the bizarre US social scene, but the job opportunity is what keeps them in the USA. Many come for the job opportunity, no longer the culture, the freedoms, etc. Some still come for the desire for a better way of life, but it's definitely a divided response now. Something snapped.

"More opportunities" means "making more money": People who like a place because they make more money aren't patriots. Which by the way is a good thing, seeing that patriotism is evil. You cannot love a country. That is utter nonsense. You can love a small area, but not a country. It is a fake concept exploited by 19th century leaders to keep "their" people under control.

As European, happily living in Europe, I have to say number of Europeans who've moved to US from the formerly far poorer European countries in the 90s or early 2000s are obnoxious and annoying to deal with when they visit Europe. They've gone to US for opportunity still come on vacations to Europe to lecture rest of the people and trying brainwash them into doing the same.
The thing is, that only the ones who really succeed can afford to travel back to Europe or elsewhere regularly without family assistance. They say hard work is enough to make it, which is a lie. You also need luck or at least not too much bad luck. You get sick in US while trying to "make it" or even later and you are far more screwed than in most European countries today. You can make it in Europe quite well enough in large parts, if you could make it in the US.
I especially found it funny when these people came to lecture people from the Nordics about how their life would be so much better in the US and they should join them. They have those USA tinted glasses on their faces and try to jam it down anyone throat and if you don't think USA is a paradise for the "hardworker" they get insulted. The safety nets you have in Nordics, often make it a stupid risk to go to US for anything besides student exchange from a local Uni. You can take a big risk and maybe make it big (still being able to lose it all quickly, if your health for example goes off the rails). Meanwhile you might not reach same heights in your home country, but the chances of you falling down to being bankrupt and homeless are very low if not non-existent.

I think you can go to another country, and experience a different psychological climate -- what I question is whether you can bring it back with you.
To make a different psychological force field takes a lot of deliberate effort, performed by at least, say, 10 people, to do, who are consciously measuring their own thoughts and words and behaviors, and contrasting it with the psychological force field that surrounds.

I'm usually not one to make excuses for others but your prescription to the diagnosis is just not sustainable for people in not only the economic climate but also the social climate. This is why I believe culture is downstream from politics because people don't recognize how much bad policies and ruining the economy guides the culture in the direction it goes and thus affects the American psyche. Of course there's other variables but I'd argue we need more participation in how we we run our country because that will ultimately, at least with better outcomes than any other approach, shift the culture and in turn shift the psyche.

I honestly still don't know how to process it, their words were so offensive and unfounded and yet they couldn't even see how their words were unjust and over the line.
I also find it extra hypocritical considering one of them is literally in the US military and it's literally his job to kill people if "necessary".

I only see this stuff online, never in person and I’ve been in USA in multiple states (lived in 4 but visited more than 30 states) my whole life. Don’t judge all of a country on the crazy people lol get out of the big cities and you will find that USA is a great place to live

please make a video about gray terrorism and why almost everyone should be terrified because they cant communicate with each other their boundaries and needs properly as civilised individuals. Radicalisation happens in the mind but the world they dream in decides their triggers and factors of radicalisation and how fast bad information, intelligence gained from lying individuals of high social standing, and their own lack of proper boundaries and values in life, work and love allow cults, sects and other parties to in-still a sense of belonging or hate towards ‘groups or individuals’ with their de-programming courses.
thank you for making your videos, they are really what many need to hear.

I wouldn't think leaving a country would be better as other countries as suppose to the U.S have problems that are probably more severe than what we have right now. I Can only say the part Of asia where I had come from where the misson was to elimate all drug traffic to the country but it ended up in a blood bath of the inoccents dying from police brutality which had led to the envasion of Isis in 2017 killing hundreds of people in the process some of those who went to war and had died were my friends. I moved to the U.S for a better opportunity and yes it has its flaws but leaving this country wouldn't make a big difference as we have a different mentality and I think we should fix what we can control first before we expect it to be better.

But on the other hand.. we have no idea what is going on in this man's life. Clearly, he snapped, it's not up to us to care why, just look at this lunatic. I have to say I wouldn't be filming that. Someone at their worst. Why is this content so popular. Is the guy okay or has he killed himself due to being embarrassed. Maybe social media is why he snapped. And now he's on it. Maybe his mother just died. Maybe his wife just left him. Poor guy but.. you are a grown man. And there will be consequences for your actions.

People are making way too much fuss about this video. First things first: You are SUPPOSED to hate a screaming baby. That is the POINT. Cavemen were too dumb to understand what they had to do, so the babies that screamed were more likely to survive because they got the needed attention (usually food, but could be something else, too). So a baby screaming means that something is wrong, and that the parents should help the baby. Now, obviously, we know that a baby will also scream about things out of our control, such a teething. But your reflex is the same: "The baby is screaming, help it!"
    Now for the controversial part:
I think we all agree that sometimes, you have no choice but to bring your baby on a flight.
But I would argue that these days, a lot of people fly with a baby for no good reason.
Your baby will scream - that is natural - and the other passengers won't be able to escape that.
How about this year, while your baby is still so young, you go on vacation close to home instead of boarding a flight that will make your baby scream because of the pressure issue?
    _

Not American but British. I went to Spain for 10 days. Made me realise just how terrible my country is. Not just was the food better in Spain, but everything was. There was no woke totalitarianism. People were happy, so many young couples. They were healthy. No obesity, no hair dye, none of the madness you get used to seeing in the Germanic world. Catalonia is supposed to be a leftist paradise. Barcelona is supposed to be dangerous. But coming from the UK I felt freer and yet safer than ever. And even in the city, everything was clean and beautiful.the traditional architecture just bathes you in warmth, forces you to care about the place, unlike postmodern architecture which is just soulless, and aggressively anti-human

There is no pressure cooker I need to flee. This stuff is very, very localized, and very uncommon besides. Social media is distorting our viewpoints. It has ALWAYS been the case that men like this will explode unreasonably. The only difference is now it is getting recorded, and there are so many people around now that it is possible to view an endless deluge of rage in your feeds...if you LET it. It is also possible to associate with highly political, activist sorts, who will bring that rage to the table everyday, further distorting your view. You don't need to flee the country, man. The reason that everyone's angry is because they predominantly work in jobs where they are underpaid completely unappreciated and have to struggle to survive. There is no way out of that predicament for a large percentage of the population. That's why we become angry at babies on flights. That's why it's so easy for those in control of the government to turn us against each other and tell us that it's our neighbors, who by the way are making just as much as we are and are struggling, who are responsible for Injustice. Look at so-called inflation right now. There isn't really any kind of historically high inflation. All there is right now is price gouging by corporations who are recording record high profits at stockholder meetings

There was even an internet something that I can remember quite clearly. But since I don't know who the fuck you are, what you look like or how old you are. I have no idea about your experience and back before the internet and before social media life was still shit and people were still real fucking unhappy. And we were doing the same shit blaming each other for everybody else's problems. Go look at a news broadcast from the mid-90s or the '80s or the early 90s and see how angry everybody in this country was with everybody else since he out disillusioned everybody in this country was. And if you're perceptive, then you watch enough news stories from the 80s and '90s what I was in school. You'll see that that was the really hardcore beginning of destroying our educational system so that people don't know anything so that they're easy to manipulate which is more to do with what has gotten us where we are today, than social media has. We don't get taught critical thinking skills in school. We don't get taught civics. We don't know how our government works. We don't get taught social studies.
