Wonderful! So glad that you did decide to Post this wee vlog after all! I loved it! It was short & sweet! I love Edinburgh so much. "Tis my very favorite City anywhere! It is lovely to see it at any time, even briefly. As well as sharing your wee shopping trip with you. I really loved the earrings you got your mum. The color of the stones is very vibrant & beautiful! I am sure she loved them too. Your Birthday treasures were very nice as well. You know, vlogs like this would be a welcome wee interlude at any time Shawna. Blessings & a Happy Birthday, just a wee bit belated, to you Shawna! Thank you for sharing your Gifts & your wee wander with us!
I'm so happy you didn't delete this, I've just subscribed because I found your trip so calming!
A small cozy vlog uploaded in the middle of the week can sure boost mood before the weekend. Thank you!
Thank you so much, that’s so kind of you 🥹 hope you have a lovely rest of your week!
I used to live on Broughton Street, down the bottom in Canonmills. Probably one of my favourite areas in Edinburgh. Another lovely vlog Shawna! :)
Taking viewers up streets they don't typically see, like those between Haddington Place and Broughton Street (e.g., Forth Street, Union Street etc.) and capturing views at dusk, when the shop lights come on really adds up to something special, possibly because for many viewers all they see in other videos are the Royal Mile and Princes Street. Also, this this video one can feel to cool dampness of the evening air and then sense the warmth when you step into the shops. There is dynamic other than just that of the visual.
I know all of these streets very well and have done - and will continue to do next time I'm in the city - my share of walking them and many more. And your videos, because they don't involve posh restaurants or the glam side of life in the city confirm that there is so much to see and experience without spending a penny. Hopefully at some point you well venture out into the streets of, say, Bruntsfield, Merchiston and Marchmont on the south side, or up around Stafford Street and William streets, which is a wonderful area of everyday eats and a bit of shopping.
Lovely video! We just came from Edinburgh and we missed all the Leith bookshops. I enjoy your videos, I hope you share more. We don't mind watching clips from several days or over weeks, we just enjoy your energy and content!
I picked up a book from this little library when I was in Edinburgh in September! And now it lives happily in Canada with me 🥰
Another retroactive vlog! 🙌 Such a lovely treat being surprised with this video today! Your wander around Edinburgh was so nice, and your haul at the end was a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing Shawna, and virtual hugs your way 🤗
Thanks so much, Patrick!! That’s the last of videos from the archive now 🙊 but I’ve got a few exciting things I’m looking forward to coming up (afternoon tea with my mum at my favourite place in Edinburgh and a possible day drip with my friend which I’m excited to share). Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week 😊😊
Happy Belated Birthday Shawna ! 🎂🎉
That’s so kind of you, thank you!! 😊😊
Did you say Malaysia? Wow, that's super cool. What made you move to Edinburgh?
Nice earrings 😊
