I think it’s fine to document your acreage on this channel, no need to set up a second one. After all your channel name doesn’t say outright this is a camping channel, yes it’s the bread butter of what you do. But quite frankly people stick around because they enjoy your laid back approach to things.

I am so envious of Steve and his new 20 acres in the woods. The treehouse looks great! I know the snow always looks whiter on the other side of the woods but, I'm in Southern Californa where there is no snow in the valleys and the woods potentially have more dangerous animals than bears, wolves, and mooses. We also have black bears, lions, wild dogs, snakes and most of all, crazy people. I'm also loving the idea of a new renovation "Now you are building with Steve", "Off Gridding with Steve" channel. I don't know, but I'm sure whatever Steve comes up with, I'm subscribing and clicking that bell!

awesome project. we built one when I was 15, 1988 or so. My helpers went all the way to 8 yrs old.. just the boys. rural maine. The odds of gaining a crap ton of free cedar by the only mill in town really plays my mind today. The very year we finished it, into the winter.. we broke all time records. 30s F below. they still stand today. 32 years later. Ponder the little wood stove boiling water in the 5 % humidity and the smell of cedar. truly priceless. That conquering is my subconscious today. we picked 5 trees, all bent and uneven.. we did not care.

The tree house has awesome potential, looking forward to seeing you upload more videos of it and the finished product. Putting in a little stove and chimney to make it a warm tree house you could cook in would be awesome.
