I'm so glad you went and saw Steve, when you lose a loved one the best thing you can do is spend time with friends. When I lost my Mom in 2021 it broke me for a long time and my friends pulled me through that dark time. You're a great guy Mav, thanks for visiting Steve!

Greetings from southern Ontario Canada. I used to be a fisherman, and a good one at that.. I fell on hard times over and over again where I wanted to give it all up. I did for years, but kept all my good gear and tackle. It's your videos that inspired me and got the drive to do it again. Even if it's for drum (sheephead) or salmon, I'll be thinking of you tanking through everything.

Steve is such a wonderful, down to earth guy and I've been following him since I can remember on youtube. I loved his humorous urban camping trips and I hope there are much more to come. What happened to his beautiful wife makes my heart heavy, because I had a painful loss in 2022, too. Mav, you should do a cool camping trip with Steve and ol' crazy neighbour! That would be the best entertainment!

I was so shy until I got a divorce and went back to work at a convenience store. Best thing I ever done. And later I waited table's and absolutely loved it. Best job I ever had. Love all my customers. It was really hard when my knees got back and I couldn't do it anymore. But when you are forced to be around that many people, it helps so much.

Such a simple yet calmly hectic lifestyle. This is what I want. To just be by myself and drive. I love taking solo trips to LA from the Bay Area & now that I have a new dog I’m slowly getting him used to different places and things and soon he’ll be my road dawg 💕

I have been having a hard time watching Steve's channel. It has made me self reflect so much that I think about losing my beautiful wife. The amount of pain is unfathomable. I can't even think about it. My heart hurts so much for the guy. Have safe travels to Alaska!
