I have a new breakdown brewing for yall, and let me just say, it might have the most complex verse of the year so far it’s crazy. Stay tuned, and thank you all for the support.

One thing I think would be a credit to your channel is giving breakdowns for Lupe’s catalog in its entirety. That would make you the one stop shop for Lupe breakdowns. Then you could take those out them into a playlist and be on to the next artist. Just a suggestion

@@100yardalchemist3 I appreciate the feedback, I'll definitely go over some of his other stuff but probably not ALL his songs, I'm pretty sure he has at least 200 released songs and as much as I dig the lyricism, pretty sure most people would get burnt out going through everything. Imagine being the one stop shop for all lyric breakdowns also not for nothing there are 14 likes on my first comment. Nice breakdown video you hit a lot of points…but you missed alot to by trying to connect Amy Winehouse to every song on the album..the project was made in dedication to her not written from her perspective..only the song Samurai is meant to her..trust me I know Lupe personally and I also know TimesNuRoman the TH-cam page that did the first Lupe fiasco Breakdown videos..so for example when he says 3rd verse Lord please Bless my Palace of bones hes referring to his Body and his health not a physical house made of bones being more sturdy…& at the end of the 2nd verse he was not reflecting Amy wine house he was simply giving jewels to all rappers who’ve gone thru fame and lost passion have to learn again how to rap from the heart…Lupe has openly stated that the Song Samurai was inspired by Amy Winehouse he made it into a project with some accompanying songs but every song isn’t written from her perspectives or with her in mind…kinda like the Lupe portrait Mazinger the song was inspired by Mazinger but the entire project wasn’t from mazingers perspecti. This song is a personal song solely about Lupe and his struggles mistakes and success within his career. You should go look into TimesNuRomans breakdowns of Lupes older material so you can further understand why Lasers is Lupes Favorite album, not sure why you assumed he meant he lost passion on Laserz and Drogas Wave was another album inspired by something else no lack of passion in these projects

Also the song Mumble rap is not a reflection of any winehouse he’s referring to himself and a curse that was hypothetically placed on him to only Rap very good everytime he opens his mouth…this same curse was referenced in the Lupe song Body of work on Tetsuo album…also when he says he has alot of baggage on his roof rack…and alot of habits that produced that…that means he has alot of things on his mind so sometimes he sits in the booth with lights off “booth black” don’t disturb him cause he’s only thinking of ways to rhyme about what’s he’s physically and mentally going thru. You missed this entire point because you simply don’t understand the slang he’s using…& you want every song to be a reflection of Amy winehouse…I have to ask is that what prompted you to do these half breakdowns of what you “think” he means? Because of the Amy wine house angle because lines on his 9th album why are you just now trying to understand and educate TH-cam about his barz…

Yep the second verse is all about his troubles with Atlantic. They forced him to do the song will Jill Scott because they wanted a commercial song on the album. Ironically that song won him a Grammy. It features Jill Scott who is an R&B artist from Philadelphia that sings the chorus. Maybe Im reaching but it's lupe. Another thing that was ironic to me was when I revisted daydreaming the concept of the song especially the second verse is anti pop music. Like he purposely was getting back at the label for making him include the song.
Also the being anonymous bar reminded me when they refused to release lasers and the hacker group basically blackmailed them to get it released.

Tyrone theme carried on for a couple of bars too. In the song she is telling Tyrone to move out of her house and get his personal belongings. A few bars later he is talking about his baggage and luggage on top of the car, he moving on from bad record deals. Baggage is used often to talk about things you bring into new relationships from your past, implying that everything he went through with Atlantic impacted him moving forward.

You actually said he’ was referencing the three little pigs houses lmmao….omg and also he said my soul calls my skeleton Homeless on the phone…Lupe would never rhyme the word Home with Home…you had to look on genius to know he was referencing the Well known Erykah Badu Song Call Tyrone…??? Bruh you should contact me before your next breakdown video because I can not believe you don’t know that but are trying to decipher Lupe lyrics as if your in tuned with the culture…Tyrone Tracy has absolutely nothing to do with this line…that’s a reach…don’t tamper with or sample my songs means just that…when he died don’t sample his music unless your a lyricist…and please stop saying the album was written from Amy winehouse perspective because it was not I promise you.
