Well executed repair video! These videos should be getting a whole lot more attention. They are always done in a manner that a home mechanic could follow. Great stuff! :-)

@@sccaktm Hi. I am happy to help. The OBD diagnostic port is located under the hood to the right side of the battery. I show the batter in this video. Rewind and you might be able to see it. More to come!
Maintenance is not so much an issue. It's that gas that bites. 1 and 2nd generations. Check out my Century Playlist on this very channel for all the fixes.

We used to have a small shop where you could take your old starter or alternator for repair. I'd keep the old one
Nice.
Yep. I kept the old one and will find one of these shops in the future if I still have the car.
Hello and thanks for making these Century videos! Can you tell me were the OBD (diagnostic) port is located?

Thinking about making a Toyota Century my daily driver but I don't know which year I should get and if maintaining it is really going to cost me?

Да сэр. Вы хорошо обратили внимание. Спасибо за просмотр, брат.
How much did that starter cost?
¥25,200 back in Sept 2020.
