@@jasonjuarez2460 yup it’s right by the bay bridge on Harrison st, there’s a SIU hall near the acorns in West Oakland. I’m only tryna join SUP because it says you don’t need an apprenticeship to work on ships. Just your credentials, vpdsd, and basic safety training.

Nice video man! I'm getting all my stuff in order. Got a TWIC appointment set. Im on the west coast and I'm a little lost at to what order I should do next or where to look. It seems from what I understand I should go to the US coast guard and take the classes then find an unlicensed union to gain some experience to put on my application to apply for a mmc. Am I following? I feel like most of these places seem to want me to have my mmc but then the mmc wants recommendations and experience. Any schools or unions that have certified training you or anyone else here know? I found SUP and MFOW, am I in the right direction or am I missing something? FYI I dont know what school or union to attend Im open to traveling east

These companies cant even provide your own room for you to get some privacy at the end of the day is honestly kind of pathetic and says a lot about the state of this country and how much they value an employee.
