It’s simple, this game came out when we were kids and now we are all grown ass men. We know every nook and cranny of this map, we bought all the shit we wanted, it’s boring now

It's boring just if you play the game just as you live a real life in it, it's boring to have in a game the same lifestyle you do have in real life, as you better know from SA-MP in right down corner the game motto were wrote as "meant to be played" not "meant to be lived" that's where y'all wrong. You follow the real life peath in a game that much that you forget it is just a game with endless posibilities, so you can do anything that in real life you can't but you still don't do it cuz it's not part of your path, it makes sense to you?
Oh yeah when you play the game for 10 plus years and it's one of the only games you play like your main game obviously you're going to be bored

MY OPINION: they definitely should not have added any futuristic things in the game.
2nd Edit: my other opinion: they should separate the lobbies so the people who enjoy futuristic things can enjoy the chaos of it but the people who actually want a more grounded game can be in a different lobby where everything is not futuristic and the most OP thing that we will see is probably a tank or jet. NOT SOME FLYING BIKE THAT HAS A HUGE SUPPLY OF MISSILES INSIDE OF IT SOMEHOW, same goes for all of the other things that can just somehow hold a bunch of missiles inside honestly🤷
3rd edit: this is coming from someone who has been playing the game since launch day. There's only so many times where I can prevent myself from getting blown up and defending myself from other players and so I've just had enough and I'm tired of it but I don't want to be in passive mode 🤷 I use a land vehicle I get blown up, I try to fly I get blown up, hell I walk near another person the wrong way I feel like I'm going to get blown up 😭 Some players seriously resort to just using the night shark and Imani tech vehicles because it's the only way to be safe on land 🤷 and that's why Rockstar added it and y'all didn't even try to look into it. The oppressor MK2 and deluxo still ran the game at the time before Imani tech so they HAD to implement something that countered those stupid lock on mechanics before people quit because the backlash they were getting on social media for those things still ruining the online experience was high. If you, are reading all of this and don't believe me when I say that you are forced to use those types of land vehicles go into a GTA online session and I can almost guarantee you will see Imani tech vehicle icons on the map and the occasional nightshark players.

@@CharlieTekana yeah but what kind of old school vehicle has a jet engine and can turn into a submarine irl? And honestly it's the aggressive missiles on it that make me hate it and the fact that there is no special icon for it but yet the deluxo which is literally getting blown up and buy one explosive damage, has an icon and so does the scram jet. Those vehicles both have icons but they blow up in one missile yet The toreador doesn't have an icon and it takes more than one missile to blow up.
I think some are good like the Torador or the brain scrambler " wait wrong game" i forgot its name
GTA5 is boring for one simple reason, it's over 10 years old. It should have been laid to rest years ago, but idiots keep paying for Shark Cards and GTA+ so they keep milking it. Adding new content that is just reskinned old content only works so many times. It's still the same old game on the same old map with a little bit of polish and bunch more clutter.

This is just my opinion. But I wish they made you feel more like a crime boss. Businesses in gta 5 should have come with subordinates to do the task for you so that you’re not always doing everything. It always felt off to me that I’m supposed to be “the boss” and yet I’m doing everything.
Yea my friends and I didn't start off trying to earn money right away to get cars. We made an awful car called the Dankmobile, our getaround car to get us to the airport. Stealing cargo bobs, opening the back door with bats, and stealing tanks from the military base. Was the best times.

Before we had heist in GTA it was boring and no fun, but after it was game changing, we need something like that something so big

The problem with gta is it really annoying to heal your self and most of the missions require more then 1 player and if you wait for someone to join its take 30-40 min just to realise the guy already left and the mission failed

GTA has also got boring because Rock Star doesn't take the player's suggestions for future updates because I read a lot of comments about how there updates just aren't that great, hopefully they take some of our suggestions seriously.
It’s boring now because Rockstar f*cked up by giving updates after updates rather than following through with the next game they make. Hell, we probably would’ve had GTA 7 or 8 by now…
Nah we would have GTA 6 probably by around this time had Rockstar not continued with GTA online updates/DLCs since like 2020. Thinking about it business wise, Rockstar should understand how fiscally damaging GTA 5 online is becoming for the company. Employees and executives like Dan Houser are leaving because there’s no way to know when the next hit (release) will occur and it damages the payroll of its employees. Yes, I’d like to play a game that’s refined and polished but at the same time, this is in fact Rockstar’s doing. Rockstar has focused simultaneously on developing both games at the same time and it’s not working out so well bc it’s taking much longer than needed to release GTA 6 and also many players left gta online soooo yeah.

I'm 44 & still enjoy Mario Bros. 3 from time to time. Not all games age well. Some do. Some don't. Sometimes,nostalgia can make you appreciate the game even more like the original gta vc. Gta V still holds up,especially their music,graphics,and game play.

I really love my Oppressor MK I, because it's still a flying bike, but you need a bit of skill to use it. Or drift cars, it's a new way of playing, when the path to the mission is already challenging and exciting

4:you can try mastering skills like flying a jet backwards through the subway system or the sewers(not the canals, the actual sewers)

The main thing GTA needs is updates that actually fixes the game not new cars, not new businesses but qol improvements & patches to things thst are actually a threat to a players experience like godmode & im sure itll be fun again
I miss glitching the doors open on Cayo Perico. Could get gold without needing a second player. Plus the replay glitch with homies on top of that, you could milk the best version of the heist endlessly. Those were the days.
All we need is new heists that are f2p it would be so much fun not having to grind for a new business every time you want to do a heist
It's cause of those toxic people with those oppressors that don't allow people to grind. Even when you do grind, there comes a point when there's nothing to do anymore. That's why we need gta 6.
Invite only session is the only safe place to grind.

Yeah I think if Rockstar disbanded their teams from creating new developments for gta online then GTA 6 would release right now or even sooner. In reality, there is a huge decrease in player interest for Rockstar
My generation understands the importance of single player also I stopped playing GTA v like 10 years ago
One way to make the game harder is one I saw in another MMO and that is as you get higher your weapons do less damage even if the numbers say they do more, this makes enemies harder to kill solo but if you are in a group damage gets levelled between all the players. In Cayo if playing solo you could turn up the guards awareness as you get higher requiring you to have more skill and avoid being one shot killed. Despite what Rockstar says about the game being peer to peer one of the biggest peers is Rockstar itself so it can inject changes as needed. And sure a lot of the game is programmed in but there is one truth nobody realised the aim of the game is to become a kingpin but as in every crime drama there is always a bigger boss and in this case the biggest boss is Rockstar. So you aren't just playing the game you are playing against the game or against Rockstar. There are so many things in the game whose only aim is to make you fail I am surprised no one realised.
Simple way not to get bored is just install mods thats how i still play gta 5 still to this day

I know the game is all about being a criminal, but I would love to own something like a burgershot or an apartment building and make passive income and have missions where you kick people out or collecting supplies (similar to the nightclub). Heists did partially ruin but also expand gta online. I would argue it limited the game in terms of massive money payouts for one mission. Inflammation for certain modern or ultra modern vehicles made missions and objectives easy and took away the fun aspects of a grind or the hop on and play friends

@@ajjohnson3416 there are countless of activities up there, heists, side missions, new vehicles releasing every week with new driving abilities. New dlc stories and new ways to make money. It’s fine you find the game boring but to each their own I guess. If the game is boring it wouldn’t reach 150 million sold and still have people playing it.

RockStar should make a new GTA game every 5 years or maybe 8 but the fact that its already been 11 years and they still haven't complete GTA 6 is just kinda weird knowing how big RockStar has become
The golden days for me was when I was leveling up, grinding the game, playing custom last team standings like runners vs zentornos, adversary modes like slasher and heists. Then I discovered money glitches so the grind stopped there. After that, I would just buy all the new shit every update. But I still wasn’t nowhere near bored. When I didn’t have to grind anymore, I just started getting into pvp in free mode more and got pretty good at that. I also got into modded outfits. Finally after being level 334, having millions in the bank and duplicated cars ready to sell when the money runs out, being able to buy everything I want and getting my KD to 2.34 I can say I’m actually bored lol. I just played the shit out of this game for years and have done everything possible. I still love it to this day but there’s just nothing there for me anymore sadly
I think they need to add exciting things like PvP tennis tourmaments where players can compete like 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 with like 4 or 5 stages for a prize.
Like players can get locked outfits, decent cash or even medals.
This is just an example.
All missions are just fast & furious movies with different stories.

It’s easy not to get bored in gta online. All you gotta do is look out your window. Noitice you see that mysterious green substance we call grass? Yeah go outside & touch it. Then discover more ways you can touch other different plants & be more connected to nature. Then naturally, your mental, physical & spiritual health will get better, everyone will love you, you’ll start finding more creative fun ways to make money, go traveling, be happy, be a boss ass bitch, get a girlfriend, maybe get married, have kids and fucking die…. But you know what’s worst than that? Being a victim of depression & insanity that is of gta online. My point is at least during any part of your journey you’ll be able to appreciate gta 5, it’s humor, creativity & toxic culture a whole lot more now that you have made yourself a better person. A better person meaning playing the game casually or every once in a while. INSTEAD OF PLAYING IT 24/7 AS IF ITS FUCKING LIFE AND AS IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE TO PLAY OR DO SOMETHING ELSE. So to all those depressed gta online players out there, open your window, look outside & touch fucking grass. It’s not hard. Do yourself a favor, you won’t regret it. Then your life will naturally get better through the power of nature ⚡️

Making the game harder is the worst idea I think I've ever heard. The combat in this game is already insanely boring. It's constantly micromanaging snacks and armor. Why would I ever want to make that worse.
Biggest issue with GTA both single player and online is how linear compared to it's mechanics it is. Gta is best when you can get clever with stuff, but online followed single player trend of limiting players creativity. Original online contact missions were a lot of fun cause they were barely scripted, so you could do a lot of werid stuff in them, like for instance me and my friends would split into 1 being sniper in range on building far away, while they went in gun blazing. Now a days the mission would be deisnged so either a) one person NEEDS to split or b) you can't split at all.
Give us less scripted stuff that you don't need to min max
GTA 5 came out when i was 14 and I absolutely loved it but definitely was disappointed when they scrapped the story dlc in favor of online. After seeing how rdr2 got no further single player content it makes me worry that GTA 6 wont have as big an emphasis on their story and instead put more focus on the online component. I definitely wont be surprised if they implement some sort of battlepass system as well. Im looking forward to 6 but those thoughts concern me

I think the main reason gta 5 got boring for a lot of people is because rockstar became greedy and milked the game for over a decade which cause people to get burned out and exhausted of gta 5. It a good game it just overstayed it welcome. I was 11 when I first got into gta 5 in 2015 and I remember the game being mind blowing and a lot of fun. Overtime I got burned out and had to take some breaks from the game. Now in 2024 the best way to describe gta 5 is it casually fun. It not necessarily boring but it definitely not fresh or exciting. It more of way to relax and pass time with. Definitely looking forward to gta 6.
Gta 6 should have come out a few years ago tbh. I remember when I used to buy shark cards back in 2015 in gta 5. Now, I realize that there was no point in buying them because there are mods now which can get you unlimited money and a lot of perks. It isn’t fun anymore. I hope rockstar bans any modders that try to play online in gta 6. Gta 5 is old and everyone has finished all the missions for story mode and online. Gta 5 used to be fun back in 2015-2017. After people found about mod menus, the game hasn’t been the same and no one is having real fun anymore.

I feel like after 3 PlayStations and and 3 xboxs, and spending hours upon hours on the game its just not fun, so we move onto something that gives us more adrenaline, such as cod, rdr2, because these games are new and replayable while gta is replayable, there is only so much you can do before it's not fun anymore.
It's because 5 has the most boring open world after the story , San Andreas, vice City, vice City stories, liberty City stories has a lot to do while 5 jus has boring ones

GTA has always been a single player cinematic experience, it is well-known for incredible storytelling so obviously GTA online, despite its popularity, can never be as fun as what its intended for

Discord has also killed online gaming to some extent. People just sit in private groups to talk, I understand that for some types of play private chat is helpful, but people not talking smack in the main game lobby/chat like they used to is just crap.
I know this may not mean anything to most but for me I don’t understand why they don’t have multiple body types for your online character to choose from. This would change and help the fun factor, and more fighting styles and different types of walks

Guys, very valid and sensible video, in fact I think that the "problem" are the players, we have a very low attention threshold, we are constantly looking for a new stimulus, enjoy the moment, now you can drift, I spend hours drifting for the simple fact that I like to do it, looking for videos online on how not to get bored, SPOILER, you will get bored, stop playing for a while or try to enjoy that moment without already thinking about what to do next. love
In any case, the game is old!! Even though when it came out (like every time) Rockstar brought a real revolution, in 2024 those mechanics that game setup are now dated, they made us wait 11 years, they will have brought something new, it's almost here, enjoy gta5.
I found GTA V enjoyable as a time waster and I bought it because alot of my coworkers were hyped by it when it came out in 2013.
The other gta games I played (3-SA) I was always entertained, starting from it being the easiest way to waste away hours because of no streaming and easier then movie after movie, and I wasn't interested in making money and buying things, I was there for the story and campaign, and I was emotionally invested in the character and story.
GTA Online would be pretty fire if, instead of making an offline story line, they make an online storyline that you can do in a private server or public. Then you have a ton of time to spend just doing a story online while you can also accomplish other online missions and get DLCs that add more to that story
Fun fact ant me ive played for 7 years and still havent spent 0.01 cent on a shark card
So I played Gtav for 6 years and I had one goal which was reach level 1k so I didn’t it and ever since I’ve been bored. So my advice is if you’re bored set a goal you won’t be bored if you set goal and reach it

I remember purchasing GTA5 way back in 2014 and I only played about 70 hours worth and just got bored and I haven’t played it since 2015. I think it might be that the game is to close to real life and if I wanted to experience real life I would just go outside? I just don’t feel a sense of escapism when I played GTA5.
I still go back in play from time to time if it’s a good 2x money week but at this point and as someone who has played since day one of online, I’m over-worked and tired so I just get on to enjoy my cars mostly.
As crazy as this sounds this game came out when I was 14 I am 24 now and still play this game…. Of course it’s not as fun as it once was but it’s still from our childhood I miss the nostalgia I miss my friends I miss my old life.
The first 2-3 years of GTA and GTA online was the best ever fucking times man.
Adults when the game they got when they were younger isn't totally 100 percent fun
They keep adding pointless thing to GTA Online when they could be adding DLC’s and different things to RDR2! I’ll never forgive Rockstar for abandoning RDR2
What a lot of people fail to notice is grinding for money is the fun of it doing heists selling your businesses and helping your friends is the thing that makes the game fun when you have everything. You have nothing else to do something that motivated me to play GTA, even when I had everything was to collect modded cars they are unique and it makes me feel good when I have 8 garages filled up with vehicles also your leveling scaling is already in the game. I don’t know how you dont realized but after they put the mkll in the game, new missions heists, and preps that came out, got harder imagine doing vault lasers for the casino heist without a mkll it would be almost impossible they also literally Nerfed the oppressor and fixed a lot of the overpowered glitches. I’d also like to note that the occasional Cayo Perico or act 2 replay glitch isn’t bad because you are right no one wants to do the same hiests and same set ups over and over it’s refreshing to be able to make a lot of money in a small amount of time because they are trying to get us the shark cards every update lol
Generation thing, "Getting bored". Play the story mode again with mods. Or try playing something else. Boredom is a state of mind. It's all in the mind of the beholder.
The most thing i hate of this game, Is the players, no one is friendly 🙄
I've retired from gaming, but I used to play the game becuase of making griefers switch servers is fun. Clan wars is fun. Dogfights are fun. Helping a newbie progress is fun, and I've made life long friends playing GTA.
I've achieved and obtained everything. To me, it's the PEOPLE that make the game fun, and as long as you remember that, you'll never be bored.

There's also the thing that the game is older that 70% of the kids playing it.
If GTA V was alive for this long (still is alive through rp servers) since the dang PS3, imagine how GTA 6 will be. Then they made RDR2 which i believe was a test, rdr2 online didn’t last long. They’re learning from everyone’s feedback through GTA V. I think

Once they added flying bikes with rocket launchers I stopped playing. Just became bs after that
i was playing gta 5 a couple of days ago, and two dudes ran in the store guns blazing and killed me. we had a crazy shootout after.
Honestly role playing made gta a lot more fun especially when playing with friends like jail role play or something like that I would try that if you can’t find anything else to do
I'd say it was around the 3rd or 4th year mark that it started to fall to bits. It became really obvious the game was a massive mathematical equation to reduce fun and the ability to make money. I continued to play until around 2017 gave up, started again on PC in 2020 and gave up on it again shortly after. Went back recently and I just wasted my free time on Sunday trying Cayo perico and still didn't finish because the alarm just goes off whenever it wants. Battled through the broken loading screens, bugs, glitches and modders to get to the finale and it STILL wasn't worth playing. Absolute trash.
My boy didn't even touch on modding. Thank God.
GTA V was pretty good, technically impressive, and memorable. Saints Row: The Third is stupid fun, flashy, and unforgettable.
Two games from the same genre that I played at around the same time, but only one of them I've recommended to friends, because only one of them actually remembered to be a good time instead of a technically impressive time.
