Fred Taylor is one of the most intelligent, wisest and articulate former athletes, I have had the opportunity to appreciate. He should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was oneof the most underrated NFL running backs of ALL-TIME!

It never cease to amaze me that athletes think that they were major beneficiary of their school largess, when the real equation is. Greatness = Discovery + opportunity + risk acceptance + personal performance. Successful athletes don't own anyone along the journey because they made themselves a successful product.

Y'all don't realize how raw Roy Williams the Safety was. The horse collar penalty is his penalty. When T.O. fractured his leg and still went on to have that great super bowl with the eagles after a few months of rehab, greatness. T.O. wasn't even mad at him out of respect through the media. Roy Williams had a hall of fame career the first three years on just hitting/tackling alone after that he got interceptions. Checc the stats...

It’ll be interesting to see how long players stay in school now. Everyone who is a top talent leaves their JR year, but I think you will see more top seniors playing college ball.
