Hello chef, this all in one curry seems amazing. Was searching for it and Will definitely try it. Can you please tell me which pan are you using in this video?
This is just what I have been looking for.
Thanks Jeremy, hope you give it a try :)
MAN.I CAN SMELL THAT FROM HERE.ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.LOVELY SAUCE!
Well done it’s an amazing recipe made it last night 👌
Glad you liked it John, thanks
I'm working you back into my TH-cam Algorithm after having been here much for a little while. I also think no one else has made more your recipies, inspired or otherwise more than i have either over a good last several years. I know i've made plenty. I eventually reached a point where i figured i knew how to cook, cook well and creatively inspired thanks much to you. That project was complete in my mind. So I just took a bit of a long break from being really creative. No one has had more of an impact in showing me how to be creative from many your old vids including Ina G who inspired me much also. Still cooked, just not as creative. It's nice to stop by again....
That is amazing to hear and very kind…I really appreciate it. I’m glad you can cook well
Tried this recipe this evening, really good for a quick curry. The only thing I will say is it's quite spicy, also worth adding extra garlic!
The sauce looks so amazing. I have to make it for my husband and me
Please do, thank you :)
Thank you sir
Thanks for watching
I dont like all that you used.. but I got an idea I'm going to try.
Thanks
If some folks want it to be a vegetarian option, seems like it would work well with lentils too! Nice video, will have to try this!
Definitely, thank you
@@stevescooking was that just a ordinary blender u used
@@stevescooking Is jar ginger ok and jar garlic ok to use in this recipie or fresh
Any good supplements for the current powder?
Just made this curry sauce! So impressed 😊 taste’s delicious… thank you very kindly for sharing your amazing cooking skills … 👏
Fantastic, glad you enjoyed it…thank you
Looks lovely . Would it kill it to add cream to it as well?
Spent a bit of time in Thailand and their curries are delicious and creamy there.
Don’t know why but I wasn’t notified of this vid but you forgot to say goes with chips too 😂😂🥰🥰 We love our curries 👍🏼🇬🇧❤️
TH-cam has forgotten about me, ha. Beautiful with chips 😉
every bachelor should know a one pot curry recipe.
My wife loves curry sauce. I have these every day ingredients in my pantry. Will give this a go. Cheers Steve. Happy Father’s Day
I hope you make it Alex, thank you :)
Thanks for keeping it simple and not boring me with twenty minutes of stories. Perfect
Sounds delicious. For how long can I keep it in the fridge?
Around 4-5 days, a week…tops 👍🏻
❤❤❤
What are the seasons again
A very flavorful looking curry sauce. Cheers, Steve! ✌️
Thank you Dwayne 👍🏻
Nice. Reckon adding some cashews would be nice too!
It wouldn’t hurt, make it your own :)
Sounds good but we don't have tomaytoes or cilantro in the UK. Could I use tomatoes and coriander instead?
I’ve been living in the US for 20 years. No, only Toms and cilantro unfortunately
So if I don't have golden curry to make curry I can make this sauce?
Looks great, some measurements would be nice for us newbies.
Thank you, but you need to watch the video 0:45
This looks fantastic. In regards to your comment about not adding spices at the end, don't Indian recipes add garam masala at the end (when the recipe calls for)?
Obviously when making any curry, cook out the spices for maximum flavor. You can add masala at the end if you wish for extra punch, it is already cooked after all. Some say cooking it ruins it, that’s bollocks 👍🏻 thank you
How does the taste of this compare to the classic homepride curry sauce? I can't have it because it has milk powder in so I've been trying to recreate but I can't get a similar taste..
I’ve never had homepride curry sauce, but what I can tell you…it will taste a thousand times better than curry in a can :)
@@stevescooking I cook other authentic curries, it's just the homepride one has childhood memories attached so I often get nostalgia cravings haha
Been looking for a sauce for my chicken Biryani, think I've found it.
I need the seasons to be told again I get it i wanna buy the seasons
How long would this store for in the fridge?
About a week
1 Tbsp Vegetable oil
20g Grated ginger
15g Grated Garlic
110g Yellow onion, diced
2 Tbsp Tomato puree
1 Tsp Chilli powder
2 Tbsp Garam massla
1 Tbsp Curry powder
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Coriander
794g Canned tomato
2 Cups vegetable stock
Fresh Cilantro, to taste
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lots of top information, no wasted time, and for the flavours to merge as one; Yup only time will do that. I just looked at his other videos, = interesting recipes + short videos, I reckon this guys worth a like and subscribe? /// Just did it :)
Thank you :)
I say tomato and with u being from Texas - you sat tamayta - lol
Texas? lol
Steve, isn't 2 TBPS of Garam Masala about too much. It's very strong and I find it overpowering
No mate, it’s just right 👌🏻
@@stevescooking Cheers. I'm going to go up the road and get what I'm missing and have this for food tonight! It's just gone 6pm here in rainy Wales 😃
@@davidhoban3825 Hope it was delicious mate, enjoy 👍🏻
@@stevescooking Very, very nice and the Mrs gave it her seal of approval as well! Cheers Steve 😊
@@davidhoban3825 Nice one mate, if the Mrs enjoyed it, it’s good for me 👍🏻
But Steve, I watch MasterChef Australia, where the all-time favs do a 10/10 multi-dimensional over-the-moon authentic asian curry dish under 60 minutes! And your sauce is not even authentic?
Did you taste it lol 😉
@@stevescooking Are you saying that television signal from down under lied to me? 😲
This is a curry base gravy, which needs to be cooked for a long period of time, to get maximum flavour. I have no idea what they cooked on the show 👍🏻 shrimp would be good with this sauce
@@stevescooking Not even the contestants have an idea what they cook on the show. That's why I'm so inspired by it. Could I replace shrimp for baby kangaroo? Shrimp is overfished
lawl - shaved the beard ... Did ATL get too hot for that ?
I always shave it off when it gets 80 degrees 😉👍🏻
@@stevescooking Thinking about doing it myself as well
120g ginger?!
That's got to be a typo. 12g, maybe?
Yep Typo, 20g
2022 and still no recipe in the video description. Sigh
Did you watch the video? 0:44 all the amounts are in the screen…and it will be the same in 2023
😅🔺️
No way can anyone say that this is quick and simple!! If it was why is the word patience stressed! Take in consideration time etcetcetc! No thanks! Select a plenty of choice on the shelf product! Thats plain simple tasty and cost efective! "You could'nt make it up"🤗🤗🤗🤗
Are you telling me, the crap you buy on a shelf is better than this? Full of chemicals, have no clue what you’re putting in your body and mediocre at best…you carry on mate, I know what I would choose.
@@stevescooking / 🤮
Not even close to being a curry.
It’s not supposed to be mate
@@stevescooking my bad.
Way to much ginger
Are you from Clitheroe steve?
I’m from Rotherham mate
@@stevescooking ah fair enough you sound like micheal bisping from the ufc ha! I just made thos curry and it was well nice! Cheers mate
