Hi, I'm from Japan and I believe this is the 11.75 inch 1787 pattern or also known as the 87 pattern in Japan. Either way, might be too small for softball.

Yeah I measured it too and it does read as 11.75”. Definitely too small for softball. Great glove for baseball though.
