When the pulse elite is connected via aux to the Xbox controller is there a way to adjust party/game volume or adjust sound settings?

The light on the right side when you’re wearing it can get annoying if you decide to game in a dimly lit environment or no light at all so I’d recommend using masking tape if anyone finds the light annoying
Thank you for watching. Yeah it can get annoying in a dark space. I also found that I get the volume and power buttons mixed up - so I end up turning the headphones off lol.

Today, I will receive my pair of Pulse Elite. These would be a replacement to my last ones that had many issues that plague them and I hope the disconnection issue has to do with a software update as far as the Xbox. It really doesn't work with the dongle. You have to go the same way you would with a dual sense controller using a cable to use the headphone jack like if you were using a headset that's not compatible with the console. So that's the bad thing for those that have an Xbox and when it comes to the audio balancing between listening to your teammates in Call of Duty match or favoring the game audio here is a step back buddy because they removed that feature that the pulse 3D had the only way you're going to be able to adjust that's lighter and get it ungrayed would be by starting a party chat with other people but doing that in the provided chat of a game is not possible anymore.

I had it for 4 days. The best part is listening to the game and other things from my ipad or iphone at the same time. Even better, they havé separated volume controle.

You have to click on the chat audio and game audio slider to change it
My Pulse 3D cup pleather wore out and flaked real bad but I was able to replace the cups with new ones. It’s not looking like this is an option with my Elites, bit concerning
I got mine today and always have random disconnects over and over again. It looks like others are having the same problem.
You also could just probably connect the headset to the switch using Bluetooth.

How do you use it wired?
Just got these today. EXTREMELY uncomfortable if you’re using PSVR2. If you put them over the headset there is a big gap allowing sound in and the sound is horrible. With it under the headset the sound is astonishing but the headset pushes the ear cups into your ear and it hurts within about 30 minutes. They do sound unbelievably awesome though. If you’re not using PSVR, I suppose they’d be ok. Problem is they slide all over the place while on your head. I tilted my head forward and back just a little and they moved a lot. You’ll be making a lot of adjustments while playing. Guess I’ll
Be trying out the Pulse earbuds next. If they don’t work, it’s back to my $30 Amazon headphones which are extremely comfortable and sound decent enough.
To adjust the audio balance you need to do it within party chat, then its enabled

Very annoying
No game chat mix
The audio where its game and headset when you can't change it. You need to be in a PS5 party. So when you are playing games you can adjust whether you want to hear people more of the game.

have yours been disconnecting a lot? heard thats a common issue
Mine has been good so far, no disconnects from an audio perspective. When I did try this on my Mac my mic would disconnect every few seconds.
Received mine today.
The sound is very clear and shows much more detail.
But after 1 hour the system disconnected and I can't reconnect again with my Ps5 or phone.
Such a shame.
I would wait buying this for a vew months.

Very happy with the clear sound. The sound of Deadspace is very good and detailed.

Then you’ve never used the oenrose x or audeze maxwell which has amazing bass
Coming from AirPod max these aren’t heavy at all
Terrible sound, the pulse 3d has more bottom end than this pulse elite.
Sony really tricked people. Buy audeze, release a colab headset and everyone will buy it.
But nobody is honest enough to say the sound is terrible. It’s shrill, pitchy, and even after eq in ps5, you cannot bring out the lows and there’s virtually no bass.
What a terrible headset. I’m returning mine today. I waited for months for a garbage headset.

Planar magnetic drivers on headphones will never be bass heavy, that's the entire point of the design. They're designed for sound accuracy and clarity which is why it has sharper treble and less scooped mids. These sound leagues better than the pulse 3ds, but I've never liked bass heavy drivers muddying up my sound.
that's how bass is meant to sound, if you want more bass than intended buy a bass headset genius
