Can you play different games on the portal and ps5 simultaneously?

I was wondering when you play intensive games is it even louder? I remember on the ps4 it wasn't too loud for me, but when you played certain games it sounded like a jet engine. Is it the same for the ps5 original or slim? BTW have a Series X now and thinking of selling it to get a ps5. Also, is it worth buying the ps5 slim over the original? I want the disc version as well.

Hey just saw this and wanted to add a little twist, so like u my PS5 Slim was noticeably louder than the OG, not “loud” but this very annoying high “Hz” sound that bugged the crap out of me, did some digging and saw that people where saying it was because of the Nidec fan, i went online picked up a Foxconn variant and now it’s dead silent, like can’t hear it unless i’m all the way against the console shell.

What about spilt screen? Like cod multilayer. Can 1 person be on the ps5 and another on the portal?

Which one is louder after all these months of use? Wanting to get the PS5 digital for a secondary backup.

Wondering why my right earbud doesn’t connect to PS5? But left connect fine!

Just to give you a heads up. If you press pause or mute and are able to differentiate whether the systems are off or on that's telling you you're probably picking up interference. I'm looking at the way you've got your cables routed. I would separate the power cables and HDMI cables.

Today, I will receive my pair of Pulse Elite. These would be a replacement to my last ones that had many issues that plague them and I hope the disconnection issue has to do with a software update as far as the Xbox. It really doesn't work with the dongle. You have to go the same way you would with a dual sense controller using a cable to use the headphone jack like if you were using a headset that's not compatible with the console. So that's the bad thing for those that have an Xbox and when it comes to the audio balancing between listening to your teammates in Call of Duty match or favoring the game audio here is a step back buddy because they removed that feature that the pulse 3D had the only way you're going to be able to adjust that's lighter and get it ungrayed would be by starting a party chat with other people but doing that in the provided chat of a game is not possible anymore.

My Pulse 3D cup pleather wore out and flaked real bad but I was able to replace the cups with new ones. It’s not looking like this is an option with my Elites, bit concerning

I got mine today and always have random disconnects over and over again. It looks like others are having the same problem. You also could just probably connect the headset to the switch using Bluetooth.

The audio where its game and headset when you can't change it. You need to be in a PS5 party. So when you are playing games you can adjust whether you want to hear people more of the game.

Just got these today. EXTREMELY uncomfortable if you’re using PSVR2. If you put them over the headset there is a big gap allowing sound in and the sound is horrible. With it under the headset the sound is astonishing but the headset pushes the ear cups into your ear and it hurts within about 30 minutes. They do sound unbelievably awesome though. If you’re not using PSVR, I suppose they’d be ok. Problem is they slide all over the place while on your head. I tilted my head forward and back just a little and they moved a lot. You’ll be making a lot of adjustments while playing. Guess I’ll Be trying out the Pulse earbuds next. If they don’t work, it’s back to my $30 Amazon headphones which are extremely comfortable and sound decent enough.

Received mine today. The sound is very clear and shows much more detail. But after 1 hour the system disconnected and I can't reconnect again with my Ps5 or phone. Such a shame. I would wait buying this for a vew months.

Terrible sound, the pulse 3d has more bottom end than this pulse elite. Sony really tricked people. Buy audeze, release a colab headset and everyone will buy it. But nobody is honest enough to say the sound is terrible. It’s shrill, pitchy, and even after eq in ps5, you cannot bring out the lows and there’s virtually no bass. What a terrible headset. I’m returning mine today. I waited for months for a garbage headset. Never thought the pulse 3d would actually surpass this in sound quality

I had it for 4 days. The best part is listening to the game and other things from my ipad or iphone at the same time. Even better, they havé separated volume controle. The light are annoying sometimes

To adjust the audio balance you need to do it within party chat, then its enabled

The light on the right side when you’re wearing it can get annoying if you decide to game in a dimly lit environment or no light at all so I’d recommend using masking tape if anyone finds the light annoying

I have the same problem with my new PS5 Slim. The first day I bought it I played Resident Evil 3 and the fan was very loud. Other games like LEGO STAR WARS didn't demand as much from the console and you couldn't hear the fan at all. Has anyone had a very loud fan since the first day they bought the PS5 Slim?

I have a question about your "output typ". That is TV? Is that right? You dont change it to "amplifier"? And you dont change the chanels to 7.1? don't you need that?

Why does a lot of TH-camr install the ssd spacer on top on the ssd? Its supposed to be under the ssd.

I literally just got the same setup including the stands last Friday Jan 26. I replaced a traditional amp and 5 speaker sub combo and 10 miles of wires. I also got a new TV 65in Samsung S90c. First time using a Sonos product and setup and calibration was so easy. I also have a ps5 and always used headphones and now unless I need voice comms this sounds amazing.

My biggest issue with the stands is that there’s no way to hide the Ethernet cable, or the USB-C adapter needed for the ethernet cable. Poor design on Sonos’s part

It doesnt sound as good as it could and ill tell you why. I have this same set up only i have duel subs with the 300s. So i recently moved into my new home. I have the same set up you do now as far as space, however my room from what i can tell is slightly larger than yours as far has how much space i have on the sides and the rear. It sounds ok at that size, it’s just ok. I moved from a house that had about 4 to 6 feet of space behind me and maybe 4 to 6 feet of space beside me…it made a HUGE difference in the sound. The 300s need space to do their work as rears since you have 4 speakers pointing to the rear, 2 back firing and 2 slightly upward back firing so that you have not only rears but rear heights..which are seperate from the up firing atmos driver. The sides also have the same, 1 side firing and one upwards side firing per Speaker stand. These need Space to work. If your couch is against the wall you WILL NOT HEAR THESE…you just wont. Ive tried it. If you have a room in your home where you can test out having space behind the couch and to the sides of the couch iits going to rival a movie theatre. No enemy can kill you on COD with that set up because you can hear EVERYTHING from all angels with space that surround headphones cant offer you. Just for fun move your couch off of the wall around 2-3 feet ( i know youre not gonna leave it there permanently) but just to do a sound test for the rears. Also move the 300s away from the rear wall so that the sound has room enough to reflect properly. Run true play afterwards. Your set up LOOKS great, meaning if you have a wife she will be happy with the aesthetics, but functionally your speaker are far to close to the side and rear walls for you to get anywhere near what you paid for quality-wise. You will notice a HUGE, MASSIVE, life-changing difference. I felt so bad you gave this review with the speakers right against the wall and in my mind im like “he has no clue that he will never go to a movie theatre again if he had a bigger room”. But just try it…you’ll feel a lot better about that expensive purchase. Its just throws sound around a room beyond anything I’ve ever heard before. I went to a show room and listed to a 9.2.2 built in wall system and I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between that and my arc 2 sub and 300s set up….its that good given the proper space.
