I think the snow like particle effects at level 2 Concentration are really supposed to represent the Yamato shaving away at bits of reality itself whenever Vergil really concentrates on his sword strikes. Just like how cutting at a concrete block would expel bits of dust in the blade's wake. And we know that the Yamato has no problem cutting holes through spacetime.

And/or it's just him imbueing Yamato with Demonic energy to make his slashes stronger. Either way it looks neat.
Overall, I noticed all weapons that on 2nd lvl of concentration will adds different boost and blue particles as cherry on top to all his movesets, but, what I love the most is when using beowulf, I didn't notice the detail when using it on my on, I only realize when I saw this vid, that beowulf's light-power (white) is not changed until Vergil's concentration bar is at lvl 2, as Vergil dark power's (purple) overwhelm beowulf's light. (bury the light XD)
Also that makes sense when he is using hell on earth, as the beowulf can't contain vergil's peak power, so it cracks (and explode?)

I always love to think the crystal particles from all of his sword swings is a byproduct of how much energy he expels in the air the amount of energy is so dense and concentrated that it clumps together in the atmosphere creating tiny crystals of demonic energy or some shit lol hence why his summoned swords breaks like glass after he detonates it since it's created from shaping his demonic power into swords
He's just cutting space and time. Just like in his JCE. those particles are like small broken glass.

Nero has the Yamato inside his own arm, so maybe if Vergil had been talked to Nero maybe Nero wouldn't give him the sword cuz maybe he wouldn't recognize Vergil, so that why he cut of his arm, to not argue, but yeah, at the previous game of devil may cry franchise, Nero has obtained the Yamato at the agnus laboratories, but he didn't knew the fact of that sword is from his own father, so that's why, and maybe Vergil would die if he didn't obtained the Yamato to cut Nero's arm, so a arm instead of a life, I think that's why he cut the arm off

@@adamsbignuts2565 sorry, but your welcome at the same time, cuz this Yamato thing it's a big spoiler, but maybe knowing that u gonna enjoy and u gonna see whit different eyes the franchise, the fact that Yamato it's only the material representation or maybe it's just an material concept of part of the power of sparda, and actually the most powerful poin on his devil trigger, but, this isnt an spoiler, but yeah sparda sword, rebellion and sparda, are the mix of Christal blood, of a demon, and the mix of a pseudo angel, that who tried no neovascularizate for say, but yeah it's just a mix of a lot of things and the fact that sparda is the literally the spardas half power, but that is something that you literally have to know and to understand, it's a spoiler but a good one, and the fact that Nero it's gonna be better than Vergil for book and whit his own Yamato, or magic Yamato version, and the fact sorry for the fact thing, but the fact that Nero knows a lot of Vergil invocation that works whit the tear of demon flowing through the whisper of human, and that's a way to say that Nero know how to use the Vergil a teleportation. But there you have, and enjoy the 4th and the 3th game

At full motivation, vergil and yamato cut through multiverse in every swing
I didn't know he gains extra partical effects at level 2 concentration. And I was only focused on combos and fighting.
Concentration 2 improves even the quality of graphics

as much i love vergil's moveset in dmc 5, i feel like dmc 4's vergil is more "impactful" especially with the perfect judgment cut
His longest combo in DT in 4 also felt very powerful on that last slash, it feels allot weaker in 5.
You just miss the screenshake
Its because of screenshake mostly, I noticed this with summoned swords and Dantes Rebellion combos
They dont have the same weight
@@alteragosagin4211 Dunno, the final cut in the first combo for Yamato while in DT really felt much heavier in the previous title.
I think it also slowed time a little, and the sword slash trail looked more "solid".

I like to think Vergil doing a sort of mini JC when concentrating, explaining why he has more range
I noticed that LV0 Concentration looks similarly to Yamato's slashes in DMC3:SE.
Technical-wise: Vergil didn't had a concentration meter in DMC3:SE.
Lore-wise: Vergil wasn't as powerful as he currently is back when he was young.

They are in mission 11 and probably have a set concentration level prior to getting to that spot since I'm pretty sure concentration levels dont drain outside of combat.
You don't need the special edition.

Sometimes too much is too much. That's why concept arts are smashed for something simple and realistic.
God I hate that Vergil's flesh sheath for the Yamato is gone in his SDT and is just a fire effect. Him sheathing his sword is such an essential part of the animations, and him having his body literally form around the sheath is a lovely detail that adds a lot. How is he smacking enemies with the flame particles? Where is the sword going? Why does it magically vanish? When the flash happens its totally gone, in dmc4 when Dante sheathed it it poofed away after, and looked way better when doing so. I despise it so much.
