Home Addition - Episode 3 - Installing Underground Electric Service

We ran a 47ft 200 amp underground service entrance from the electrical post to our house. We installed a new power meter box as well as a new 200 amp breaker panel. The existing 100 amp breaker panel was attached to the 200 amp panel via a 100 amp breaker.
The old power line ran to and through the garage into the basement, to the 100 amp panel. We are going to demolish the garage and build a new one.

I don't want to take the credit. My dad is the one with knowledge and experience, I'm just following his guidence. I worked with him on and off throughout highschool and college and learned a lot of practical knowledge about construction.

Don't remember the exact size, but we ran 200 amps to the house. It was the proper size. I usually don't show the inspection steps in these videos, but we're following all our local ordinances and getting proper inspections at proper steps.

@@ramongarcia3003 it was honestly one of the most memorable parts of the whole project. Now I got to figure out how to do the same with fiber optic. The internet line still runs to the house from the pole.
